I tried to go here on a Sunday evening but they were closed. Google said they were open, but maybe they closed early or need to correct their hours on Google.. I was disappointed.

Love this place! Drive ~50 miles one way to eat here. Upsetting, that drive this evening for some great pizza... Ended up to no one/cars, doors locked, no sign. Yet when I looked up online to check out today special... said open.

Hmmmm… Love a great wood-fired pizza. Who doesn’t? Sadly, this isn’t. Ordered a pie w/ high hopes — and if you think that means anything beyond positive expectations deal w/ that problem before it deals w/ you. Pizza was loaded w/ cheese & toppings, but over all lacked flavor and was as bland as the worst chain pizza parlor you can name. Worse, the ‘handcrafted marinara’ boasted about on the joint’s website was thick like tomato paste and super sweet. In fact, it was so sweet we suspected it’s Hunt’s canned or Prego pasta sauce. Ate a few slices & threw the rest out. Carthage’s premium pizza place? The Bronx it’s not. C’mon people. It’s not that hard — but it’s harder than Cave Gang Pizza’s attempts.

Well just walked from hotel to restaurant- locked up. Looks like it has been locked up for awhile. Come on- update online hours. Poor.

We stayed in Carthage on our way up to Chicago and again on our way back to Texas. Both times we tried to order from this place and they never picked up the phone after multiple order attempts. Their online order button also doesn’t work. Are they even in business?

My family tried 3 small pizzas on our first visit: cheese, pepperoni, and The Hobo. The sauce is a sweet version, which is more similar to a tomato paste than a bright marinara. The crust was like a bar style cracker crust. With the menu advertising local, house smoked meats, i expected more pepperonis. We weren't huge fans of their style, but the service was great and the restaurant itself had nice atmosphere. We sat outside.

The BEST pizza I’ve had in a fat minute! Baked in a stone oven pizza, that you can watch from the bar. Smackin joint really, we live near an hour away and it’s worth going to Carthage alone just for this pizza. The Pigfeather to dead for, no joke. Love the atmosphere and aesthetic of the location and and building. We will be back, it was also a great stop before heading over to the Drive-In theater in Carthage as well!

Absolutely the best pizza we've ever had. This will be our #1 go to for pizza. Service was fast and good, pizza was hot and perfect. 5 stars all the way

Tried to like it, but couldn’t. Crust was burned all over and toppings were cool.Ours wasn’t the only one, waitress took what appeared to be 2 pizzas worth of crust only back, after people had scraped the toppings off.

I’ve really tried hard to like this place. We really want to support local restaurants but they have a major quality issue. We never know if we’ll get a good pizza or one that is totally burnt with tough to eat crust that is over 3” wide on some parts of the pizza. I would go elsewhere for wood fire pizza.

First visit tonight and the food was so good. We will definitely be back! Make sure you try the house ranch! It was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place, plus the staff was very friendly.

Really great pizza with a great selection of beer and other drinks. You can also order ahead and pick it up. It's our go-to for pizza.

Ordered a pizza from online menu. When picked it up cost was $5.00 more than price online. Was told due shortage of product they had to increase price. Told them false advertising. Will not go back.

We sat outside we had a group of 9, all of us were out of town, but one couple had eaten there before. Good varied menu , pizza was very good, my only complaint was crust was too thick for the Margherita pizza.I think everybody else was okay with the crust on their choice if pizzas.Would go again when in Carthage, MO
