I like what they call "puffy tacos" however they only have ground beef which was disappointing. Still a decent cheap little white ppl taco shack on the go.

Taco Town is my favorite place to eat in Carthage, MO. We live in Webb City and always make a trip to get delicious tacos and cheese dip!

I have driven by this place for years and only tried it recently. The outside of the restaurant might make one think that it's less than excellent, but that would be a wrong assumption. Inside you find a nice ambiance and very clean kitchen with friendly attentive employees. The food is just simply excellent. The bean dip is outrageously good. It has now become a staple in our meal rotations. I've had the taco burger, bean burrito, and combo burrito. They all are excellent. Don't let the impression from the outside fool you. You should give this place a try!

One of THE BEST places in Carthage to get Mexican! We have eaten at Taco Town way back when Tony & Montine Ness had it. I'm SOOOO glad the new owners decided to bring it and Tony & Montine's recipes back & have added some new things as well!! We drive from Springfield to get our fix & take home to freeze!! Yum, yum, yummy!!Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to get in & out frim the side parking lot.

The meat was awful. Seriously. They must use a filler in their ground beef. Tacos and enchiladas were not good.

Ok it's a strange little place. However the food was good and not really expensive. The atmosphere was above average for a place like that with some serious history attached. The awards are a nice bonus. Portions were a little above average but seriously filling. Decent enough price point so we will definitely be back. Not hard to find and decent parking

First visit. I tried the puffy taco and really enjoyed it. Inexpensive but filling food. Definitely worth a stop in.

I've never been to Taco Town, but all the locals seem to rave about it. So my wife and i wanted tacos, so we thought we would give it a try. The tacos are cheap and good. There is plenty of meat and cheese and just the right amount of lettuce. The staff was very friendly and we got the good quickly. I'll be back for sure to try more things on the menu!
