We made a stop on our way toward Mississippi, hungry for something decent on our road session. So we stopped at this place and we were glad that the restaurant was right off the exit! Our food was delicious and had a great portion - the Jalapeño burger was very tasty and the Veggie omelette was a great breakfast vegetarian option! The ambiance may be quiet but the server we had for lunch was very pleasant and attentive! If by any chance you come toward Illinois or I-55, it's a great dining option either way!

Food was ok, service was good, restaurant is old and kinda crusty, seems as if there was a gathering when we were there of men, including a law enforcement officer, who had a distaste for immigrants ? they quickly quit talking and left shortly after we came in. My three stars is for the restaurant only and not the ignorant patrons.

Food was ok, service pretty good, restaurant is pretty old and a bit crusty, and apparently we came in on a morning when a group of men sit around and talk about their distaste for immigrants, one of these men happened to be in law enforcement. Three stars is strictly for the restaurant itself and not it's ignorant patrons.

Such a cute quant little place and I got the waffles with strawberry and cool whip and my finance had the chicken Philly and both were amazing. That sandwich was more sandwich than you would ever expect to get for the price it is honestly. And the service was awesome.
Great little small town diner. Food tasted great and the waitress was super sweet and attentive. If you are passing through, I'd highly recommend stopping by for some breakfast.
