Four of us went for dinner based on a recommendation from an aquaintance. We were amazed that we hadn’t heard about Fillipos previously — because we found, with a few minor exceptions, the food and service to be very good. The food: I had the lobster ravioli with Marsala sauce and it was absolutely fabulous (& I’m someone who makes her own red sauce using DOP certified Italian tomatoes, etc). It was considered a ‘special’ — and I’m hoping they’ll add it to their regular menu. Two of us had the Parmesan (one chicken, one veal) and both were extremely tasty. Another pasta special was also delicious. The salad & rolls were very good, and the desserts we tried were great, as well. Now for the exceptions: when the waitress didn’t write down our order, we joked amongst ourselves that we wondered what she’d get wrong. One of our party ordered a Caesar salad & sure enough, she got a regular house salad. Not a big deal — we told the waitress that we’d just proceed with the wrong one, but in looking at the bill the next day, I noticed that we were charged for a Caesar salad (which was more than the house salad). Not good! Also, the Calamari was a bit greasy/chewy. And the men’s bathroom could have been ‘tidier’ and everything working. Just some suggestions! But otherwise the staff was all wonderful, friendly, responsive, etc, and one of the owners came out to meet us before we left. We will be back soon!!

I can not say enough great things about this place. The food was PHENOMENAL. Loved the music choice. Our server Jason is an absolute STAR ?! He was able to help us pick the perfect wines for our meals, despite us not knowing much about wine. He got us the perfect pairings. He was so incredibly helpful and nice. Seriously, if you are thinking about trying this place out, do it. Go. Go, now. You will not regret it. My husband got the chicken parm and I got the crema di mare pasta. We both absolutely loved our dishes. Love, love, love this place. We absolutely want to come back.

We went for an early Valentine's dinner and everything was delicious! The Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection, I'm sure the Italian salsa would have been delish, but I was able to change up the sauce to the lemon, caper and mushroom. The tenderloin Palermitana was so tender and flavorful, the eggplant on top added extra texture and flavor that really made it one of our new favorites! It was our 1st visit, but we will definitely be back!

Had an excellent visit. Menu is smaller than some other restaurants but I found that the selection did not need to be larger. The entrees they have focused on are top notch and I think the phrase "quality over quantity" is very appropriate here. Of note was our waiter James. Quite simply one of the best waitstaff I have had in years. He was attentive, knew the menu backwards and forwards (to include specials not on the menu) and was generally a delight to have serving us. Highly recommend this Italian restaurant.

The specials of the day was a lobster ravioli and a meat cannelloni with a mixed tomato and cream sauce. They were both amazing! The service was fantastic. We visited from out of town and will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

Why have I waited so long to come here ? It was an excellent location for an adult family birthday celebration and the food was excellent ! Everything from our drinks , appetizers, dinner and dessert was fantastic ! The food options were easy to choose from and we all enjoyed the flavors and taste of our selections. I would defiantly suggest Flippos !!! Two thumbs up !!

Wow! Where do I start! GREAT SERVICE! Request Jason, but I would bet you couldn't go wrong with anyone. All were friendly! A hidden gem! Italian classics at their best! Generous portions! Salad was fresh, felt like it was prepared in house-not "born in a bag". Cozy, unpretentious atmosphere. Would definitely go back when in the area!
You can never go wrong with Spaghetti Factory and the Chesterfield one is really a cool place to eat and food is always great our server was great! And Filippo's Italian Restaurant & Bar has toasted ravioli it was amazing!

Terri and I had dinner tonight and I had the lamb chops which were the best I have had in a long time. The caper sauce was off the charts. Terri’s pasta dish was awesome. Highly recommend this place

Food was great. Service during covid was spectacular. Only 3 tables occupied when i was there. Absolutely loved our server. Only complaint was that my alfredo sauce was extremely oily. Microwaved the leftovers and half the bowl was oil. Didn't sit all that well on my stomach. Will definitely try a red sauce next time.
