Appreciate the proximity of the restaurant to where we reside. Makes for the place we can bring our guests for dinner especially when the request is sushi and other Japanese food options. Amazing service and ambience. Most recently I ordered the salmon teriyaki dinner, hot green tea to drink, and our table ordered several sushi rolls.

This is a great sushi place in west county! Friendly service and a huge menu of sushi and other Japanese favorites.. the shrimp tempura and volcano rolls are my personal favorites. Food comes out quickly and is fresh with nice presentation. There are a bunch of good sushi choices in the STL area but Fin is one I always come back to and know I’ll get a great meal.

Great selection of Japanese cuisine, excellent preparation and presentation, server kindly provided extra tableware for sharing, and explanation of menu items. Lovely decor.Kid-friendliness: Kid chopsticks! Useful for clumsy adults, too.

Food: 4 Stars Service: 5 Stars I love the convenience of Fin. It doesn't matter what time we walk in, there's always a spot for us and the staff are prompt in getting us seated and situated. They rolled out with a new menu a few months ago, adding some new items and modifying outdated ones. There's a decent selection for everyone's palate, which can be a challenge at some sushi restaurants. Ask about a special plum wine- it's one of our favorites! Some of our favorite menu items include: - Chili Garlic Edamame - Tempura - Chirashi Don - Baked Scallop Roll - Dragon Roll - Fin Dynamite - Red Dragon Roll

for many years i have loved the sushi served in this restaurant... today i had a 'sumo roll' and a 'lava roll'... they were great... BUT the bill had a 'cash discount' entry, which i was told was a fee for using my credit card... really?... well then, this was probably my last visit to this place.

We went in for an early dinner on a Saturday. They had only been open for 30 minutes or so. Our server was delightful and accommodating. That was the highlight of our experience. My wife's chicken breast was dry and tough; like day old tough. She asked for more sauce and a knife which were promptly brought, but with no apology or visit by the owner/chef. My vegetable tempura was adequate at best, and again there was that initial taste of day old oil. Worse yet, no attention was paid to the vegetable assortment as the vast majority of the plate was zucchini, which made the dish all the more boring. The attention to quality made us feel like they were just going through the motions. Disappointing experience.

Food was good but more on expensive side per roll. Volcano was outstanding but with a higher price tag. Service was not good at all for it not being busy at the time.
Haven't been here in a while and hubby wanted to have sushi for dinner. The service is always very friendly and prompt. We had reservations for 6:15 but they were not necessary as there were plenty of tables available. It is a quiet and cozy place for really good sushi. We decided to order several plates to share. We started with the chicken gyoza which was tasty, then ordered the fried rice with shrimp which was yummy and the chicken teriyaki (the sauce is tasty but the chicken was a bit dry), and we shared the Fin Dynamite Roll. It was my first time ordering this roll and it was very good! All in all a successful date night with hubby. This place is always consistently good!

We have ordered here twice. The first time, i was not overly impressed for the $$$$. Due to sushi cravings, I was willing to give it another try, and I am glad I did! The sushi seemed fresh to me and was consistent with the menu. The amount of fish was adequate and probably worth the price. We ordered stir fry soba noodles which were fine; my daughter liked it! The garlic edamame was good! Would probably order again when the craving hits!
