I’ve dreaded the day my favorite Chinese restaurant of 34 years changed owners or closed. While the cashew chicken was very good and the potstickers are still handmade (not frozen), the food is not the same. The fried potstickers, for which I would drive all the way from O’Fallon, MO to buy, are now deep fried and crispy all over. No longer soft on top and pan fried on the bottom. The meat is now a dark brown and does not taste the same. The sauce that goes with them has also changed. The portions are much smaller and the price is much higher. The tables are now difficult to sit at because of the ornate designed that hangs down above your lap. The time it took for our food to come out was way too long. Our waitress was very nice, but the service was slow. Ultimately, they should have changed the name rather than leading us to believe it is still the same place. Very sad to see these changes.

I have been there twice. I am going back ASAP. FOOD WAS GREAT. The waiter was super helpful. I also got two to- go orders. Everything was in the bag's. They are doing a small expansion in the dining room. It will be small and intimate, beautiful. Best shrimp, I have ever seen in Chinese restaurant in St.Louis. Table service was quick, but not too quick. Loved the place.Vegetarian options: Vegetables very fresh. The tofu was perfect. Vegetarian potstickers ? ? ? SO MANY CHOICESParking: Well lit. Handicapped spaces. ♿️ plenty of roomy spacesKid-friendliness: Welcome, great menu booths are roomy. Service is fast.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out. Large entrance. Table and booths. Clean bathrooms .FROM THE CAR TO THE DOOR. Not far to entrance.

Currently under renovation (March 31, 2024) but went anyway. The dining room wasn’t staffed when I arrived despite door being open. Once they realized I was there, received very friendly service. Food is excellent. Mongolian beef really should be enjoyed with white rice as listed on menu as it has a lovely sauce.

Was referred here, and have ended up ordering the past 3 days while at work! VERY good Sweet and Sour Soup, egg rolls, and not to mention their 10 ingredient Fried Rice is AMAZING!! Very personable delivery staff, and it's nice you can pay by card directly with the driver. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

It was great. The general tso chicken was sweet and just a hint of spice. The crab Rangoon was crispy and full of filling. The egg roll was so fresh and the fried rice was delicious with carrots and onions. Will be back.

This place was great! I got a Mongolian Beef lunch and special. It came with fried rice, soup, and a crab rangoon as well as a vegetable egg roll. The owner is a super nice person and very flexible with any substitutions. Really enjoyed the overall experience and I don't normally write reviews.

This place used to be a Stl county staple. We used to skip school and drive up here for lunch. I always looked forward to the hot braised chicken, and regarded this place as the best Chinese food in the city. Not anymore! The food has gone downhill since the new ownership. They claim nothing has changed in the kitchen, but it's simply not true. Such a shame, they really need to focus on the quality of the food and bring back the long-time customers they've lost. We've been ordering from there for 25 years, but have moved on...

Unfortunately the economy got the better of this restaurant. They have switched to cheap meat and using new recipes the old flavorful ones are gone. The General T’so Chicken used to be sooooo good very disappointing. Now it’s no different then China King or Green China. If you used to drive for this place save the trip and order from the place in your neighborhood. It’s not any different anymore. We would drive from Saint Peters (25 min) for this place.

Lately this has been our go to place, lunch or dinner, dine-in or takeout, food is always delicious and plentiful. My go to dish is the General Tso's Chicken combo. The crab rangoons are always fresh and creamy. Since changing ownership the restaurant is more accessible for dine in, plus they enlarged the dinning facility. Place is always clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Usually in and out for lunch in under an hour. Recommended for your Chinese cuisine at a reasonable price.
