My first time there. Place is clean and a nice atmosphere. The salsa had zero flavor. Tasted like crushed tomatoes. Asked for some hotter salsa and they don't have any. Thought that was very odd. Cadillac Margarita was terrible, and it sure seemed it was made from a mix. For a place like this and the expense, they need to go to some places like Dos Reyes and try one of their margaritas. They squeeze all their juices fresh daily and don't use a mix. Less expensive and fresh. I got the Nopales salad, not much flavor but all ingredients were fresh. Fiancé got a protein bowl and enjoyed it.

We decided to try it after hearing about it on the Dave Glover radio show many times. I mean, he raved about it. The wait to be seated was a little longer than we would normally do, but figured we had already traveled the distance to get there it might as well stick it out. You're seated in a booth, the table was sticky. Tech 10 minutes to be greeted and have our drink order taken. I ordered fajitas which were tough and the accompanying vegetables were soggy. My husband ordered several different items because he likes variety, and his opinion was that none of it was above average. Not sure what all the hype was about, but I will not be going back there.

After the barrage of ads from David Glover gave it a try. Thoroughly disappointed. I am from Texas and I know my Mexican food and can appreciate nuanced varieties. Daughter-in-law is Mexico City native thus I have been exposed to authentic Mexican cuisine and this was neither authentic Mexican nor decent Tex-Mex. Ok for Missouri-Mexican if those are your expectations.
