Food was very good,However, we had to wait an hour for our order to arrive. Server said my wife's scallops were burnt so they had to replace them. At least they comped us a drink.

You will never be disappointed at Spiros. Food is always outstanding and service is excellent. Multiple fireplaces in the dining area and the outside patio has a fire pit feature and heaters if you want to brave cooler temperatures. Never feel rushed or neglected. There's a reason they have been around in multiple locations for decades. My family started going to the Natural Bridge location in the 60's. We are 3rd generation regulars at this location.

The dinner there is always solid! Old school restaurant with a long St.Louis tradition! Don't forget the dessert #spicemeister approved!

Love this restaurant. The food is delicious! It's all so yummy it's hard to decide and I've eaten almost everything on the menu over the years. My grandma use to take me there when I was younger and I loved their potatoes! I've been going ever since. So fantastic!!

Recently, I tried Spiro's Restaurant for the first time, and it was a pleasant surprise. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. I decided to try their lamb gyro, and I was not disappointed. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the tzatziki sauce added the perfect touch. The portion size was generous, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience that I would definitely recommend to others looking for delicious Greek cuisine in the area.

While there are only a few true Greek options in the area, this one really hits on many fronts: Large menu with all the traditional options; Many higher end menu items; Nice bar and wine options; Good service; Really good food. Traditional decor with a warm and cozy fireplace. Lots of seating. Get reservations on Friday and Saturday for sure. What we ordered: - Greek salad (4.25/5): GET THIS. one of the best house salads in the area. - Lamb Shank (4.5/5): GET THIS. I am fond of ossobuco which is almost always a 5. This was pretty darned close! Rich, flavorful, filling. Nice special treat. Rice and veggies made for a good side. - Gyro plate (4.25/5): Gyro meat was standard, but dish overall was really tasty. Comes with a salad. - Ahi Tuna: My friend really liked this dish. Was a bit overcooked for being seared.

What a wonderful meal if you don't mind eating a little early. Spiros offers a happy hour dinner. For one price you get soup or salad, an entrée, a glass of wine and a dessert. Ours was delicious. I ordered the salad. It was a very large Greek salad with a couple of Greek olives, tomato, cucumber and cheese. It had their amazing house Dressing on it. I ordered for my entrée the Pasta Corfu. It did not disappoint. Such a large serving. I probably have enough left over for two lunches. It was my birthday, so they automatically brought me out a slice of baklava. But I did get my choice on the desserts after that and I got the Galacrobouriko which was sort of like a custard. We enjoyed absolutely everything about our meal. My friend ordered the filet mignon special and our entire bill was under $70. The atmosphere was great as well as the service. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Went back for my wife's birthday, the food was great as always , however the service was very disappointing, waitress showed up to take the order and brought us the food that was it she then brought us the check that was it , we saw more of the young man refilling the drinks or the bread than the waitress . It is unfortunate that her lack of service spoiled an otherwise great lunch

This is a nice restaurant with interesting architecture inside. The service here was really good. We participated in the happy hour menu. The happy hour menu was misleading. If you look on their website and expand the dessert happy hour menu, it shows there are a bunch of options available so I was expecting to order the carrot cake. However, only 4 desserts were available to choose from on the restaurant happy hour menu (baklava, the Mediterranean custard, ice cream or sherbet), none of which I like. When I went back home and looked at the website again, I noticed there was a "download happy hour menu" that shows only those 4 desserts available. The website needs to be updated so the menus aren't conflicting and properly sets expectations. Menu issues aside, I do appreciate the concept of the happy hour menu - 1 price for soup or salad, entree, dessert, and glass of wine is very reasonable plus I had leftovers. For the food, I ordered the soup, grecian chicken, custard, and cabarnet wine. My husband got the salad, lamb shank, baklava, and merlot wine. The cabarnet wine was very smooth and easy drinking. We preferred the cabarnet over the merlot since the merlot wine was a bit bitey. The soup was interesting and hearty...menu description is quite accurate (creamy lemon, chicken broth and rice soup). I think we both preferred the salad over the soup - the dressing was quite good...reminded me of a Mayfair type dressing. The grecian chicken was pretty decent, but somewhat lacking in seasoning. The dark meat on the chicken was so tender, it literally fell off the bone. The white breast meat was a bit dry, but usually is at most places. Chicken was served with rice which was on the plain side and some veggies which were quite tasty. The lamb shank was very tender, but the sauce seemed a bit greasy. The Mediterranean custard was kind of like a flan. I did not care for it. The baklava was overly sweet and also not our preference when it comes to desserts. Overall, the experience was good and the food was a good value. We might come back to try more menu items. We just wish the food was seasoned a bit more and there were other dessert choices available for the happy hour menu since we don't like any of the 4 options offered.

I went to Spiro's for a family event. My wife and her sister celebrated their birthdays that week, and I flew in from New York City when I could. My various in laws have been there before. I was impressed at how full they were; that bustling atmosphere suggests reliability and quality. The waiter also was patient. I have been reading lately about restaurants becoming less enthusiastic about larger parties (less turnover, so if you figure they linger for 2-plus hours, in any given evening you probably flip the table(s) once less than with a couple or foursome). But they were welcomed. We were, I regret to say, slow to order, and the waiter had to circle around repeatedly. He did not insist we be any speedier than we were. That is a testament to his professionalism. We had one of the starter plates. We also ordered calamari. It was all excellent. The saganaki preparation was what it was supposed to be; you could feel the heat of the flame. For my main dish, I had smelt. My niece shared a bit of her pastitsio. The smelt was tasty. The pastitsio was appropriately drier, not unpleasantly wet. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The next morning, I had smelt again. And then there remained another meal. That makes three. So the portions were generous. They treated a disabled person very well. I had to get up to allow passage. They have a good ramp. Staff were solicitous. I'd visit again.

It was an amazing authentic Greek restaurant where the owner and staff was attentive and we had unparalleled service. The appetizer trio of flaming cheese, spanakopita and shrimp were wonderful and each taste was better than the last. Every meal was what true to its iGreek heritage and u felt u were having dinner at ur family table. I would recommend this restaurant without any hesitation. The traditional baklava was light and airy but I LOVED the custard dessert too! OPA!!
