Placed a carry out order for 6pm on March 29, get there at 6:05 pm and get my food and it’s ice cold. Not impressed at all, and they were not even busy. Such a shame now out 80 dollars in food that was barely edible.

Made an online reservation, when we arrived they couldn't find it. Nobody manages the website. So we were seated in the lower area with another group of 12 parents and 10 kids. All of them were so loud. One server had the whole room. Asked for anchovies for my salad, by the time he remembered I finished it. I ordered the Penne con broccoli. It was bland. Minuscule amounts of broccoli in it. Wife ordered the cheese pizza, mediocre at best.

I have gone here my whole life and still love going here. This last time I went the fettuccine was not that great. It had way too much butter and seemed like I could pick the whole bowl up on my fork. The chicken was dried out, either overcooked or had been sitting out awhile. I would still eat here and recommend this place to everyone. Can't wait to see the house dressing sold in stores one day.

Took the neighborhood location away (Forest Park and Skinker) long ago, then Debaliver sold/knocked down. So now gotta come to what I grew up on. Had to update after meal TRULY DISAPPOINTED PASTA TASTELESS, SAUCE WATERED DOWN NOT ENOUGH. Chicken rubbery, salad ok SAUCE WATERED DOWN. THIS TIME 3/5. HEARD I HAVE TO GO TO ST CHARLES LOCATION TO GET THE REAL TALAYNA'S EXPERIENCE ?. AW SERVER WAS EXCELLENT SHE DID NOTHING WRONG 5/5. Admittedly, part of the charm of the atmosphere was it reminded me of the old Talayna’s in the city — the elevated floor and the stained glass windows.It was a perfect place for old friends who reconnected after years and years of not seeing another. The pizza was great and the frosted glass for my beer was a bonus feature I always appreciate.

I’m so glad we finally dived here. This Italian restaurant is right in Chesterfield but somehow we always tried something else.Plenty of parking on the lot. Very cosy inside seating with two levels. It looks like there is outside seating in warm days.Great food, from cheese sticks to pastas. Tortellini was delicious, with mushrooms, peas and cream sauce. Kids also enjoyed their options from kids menu.Service could be more attentive, offering plates and utensils. But overall - great tasting Italian food!

The food wasn't what I remembered it being when Talanya's was located on Skinker or at Pershing Ave years ago in Dt Louis City, but it was still delicious.

I forgot that Talayna's had another location. Went here for lunch and it was amazing !!! It tastes just as I remembered from the location on DeBaliviere. The service was great & the restaurant was very family friendly. Will definitely be back !

I had an enjoyable time at Talayna's, although it didn't quite match up to the nostalgia of the old Skinker location. Perhaps it's unfair to make comparisons. The thin crust pizza was satisfactory, but the hand-tossed variety was truly exceptional! The salad and dressing evoked memories of the old establishment. Overall, the food was delightful, and while the service was generally good, I feel the thin crust pizza could benefit from some minor adjustments. Nevertheless, we'll certainly return. Michael, our server, was fantastic despite handling a large crowd. The calamari left something to be desired, reminding me more of chicken rings from White Castle. There are better options available elsewhere, but it won't deter me from revisiting. Despite any shortcomings, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
