Started with the Sangria which had to be the worst ever. Cheap red wine with a slice of orange. No taste. Do not bother drinking. Next came the lettuce salad. Drenched in oil but forgot the vinegar. Four of us had the salad, but no one ate it.I had some ham thinly sliced served on a plateau. Taste was OK but quantity was light. I did have a glasàs of very good Spanish wine. I don't recall the waitress asking about desert. I will not discuss other items served to others..

going inside the venue looks nice, but soon you find that neither the ambiance nor the food nor the service provide the warmth of a good tapas restaurant... not worthy of a photo... they rush you to order, and then to pay... they never asked if there are any food allergies... every dish that has bread comprises charred bread, so whatever flavor the topping may have is lost in the taste of burnt bread... the servings are small for their price... i had an allergic reaction to whatever was in the "cheese" dessert, as well as an upset stomach (perhaps it was undercooked).. not a good night sleep afterwards.

Came to this place after work last Sunday and I was astounded!!!The service was great, I love business that incorporate European work style. The Baccala and the Spring Lamb were fantastic! The server offered a great red wine pairing for both dishes.Wish I could’ve gotten dessert but I had somewhere to go but I will be back!!!

Best dish was the roasted rabbit. The tinned fish was not good at all, I would skip those in my opinion. Maybe we just didn’t order the right dishes, but I probably won’t be back. Service wasn’t the best either, our waitress seemed overwhelmed.

We had an absolutely wonderful night at Bar Moro. Truly one of the best places in STL that I’ve dined at. My grandmother is Spanish and the vibe and food took me right back to her. We were not rushed once throughout the whole meal, the setting was intimate and lively at the same time, and the food was so well made. A perfect representation of Spanish dining for me. Our waiter/server (Jonathan I believe?) was well attentive and took the time to explain recommendations, while caring for all the other diners with the same attitude. Overall, a 10/10 experience and we will be back for more. Thank you, Bar Moro!!!

Our new favorite restaurant in St. Louis. It was easy to get a reservation, especially compared to other inferior restaurants that require you to stay up til midnight to get a reservation a month out. We sat at the bar directly across from the head chef’s station. I felt like it was a meal and an experience because he gave us so many tips about the various dishes that were coming out before ours. We talked about our personal lives and his deep deep culinary background. Very humble chef because you don’t find many in St. Louis with his expertise.Just to make sure it wasn’t a “one-tricky pony”, we went a 2nd time and sat at one of the actual tables and it was equally as great of an experience. Superb job!
Wonderful. We finally got to try this special restaurant. Classy but informal. Tapas style but with ver large portions (we kinda over ordered!) the imported conservas in tins is a really nice touch. Everything we had was incredible. First class atmosphere and service. Can't wait to come back

I practically never give 5 star reviews, but Moro surprised me so much I will be coming back for more. We had pepper dip, mushrooms, shrimp special, followed by tuna main special. All dishes were absolutely amazing explosions of flavor. Well balanced on both flavors and textures. The tuna dish scored lower on my grid, while tuna itself was perfectly cooked, the sauce it came with resonated way too much with the pepper dip. The server explained it was different peppers and technique, but flavor wise for me it just didn’t marry well with tuna.

This place has given me the same food experience I had in Spain, an experience I haven’t even gotten close to since. The staff give stellar service, and the atmosphere is incredible. Visited twice in a week.
