Had a reservation there tonight at 6:45 with my husband Kevin. Moved my napkin before I sat down and this critter crawled out. We left immediately.

The food is top-notch and the service can’t be beat. Highly recommended the beef short-rib ?

The food was excellent. Very well seasoned. The service was spectacular. And each course came out in an expeditious amount of time, such that I never felt like I was waiting between courses. I had the Paloma cocktail and another one called “Cello.” Both savory and delicious. A very well managed establishment.

Wonderful Valentines dinner at Il Palato - food was excellent and service top notch! The roasted chicken and linguini with shrimp, clams, and scallops entrees were delicious Especially nice that the restaurant offers its regular menu rather than an overpriced) “special” menu for the evening. Highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon!

I had high hopes for this place since we always love Del Pietro's family of restaurants. Service was friendly and accommodating. Restaurant is beautiful and wine selection is great. Food was mediocre. Four out of four of us found it to be very “meh”. All dishes were served room temp. Restaurant was busy and seemed under staffed, so maybe that's why. My husband ordered the fish special, which was a very large, beautiful piece of salmon. We definitely enjoy our fish cooked medium rare or even with a ribbon of rare running through, but his was served almost completely raw. We like sushi, but not at an Italian restaurant on top of hot risotto. He asked for it to be cooked more thoroughly and was present with a different piece of fish also completely cold and raw inside. For the steep price, we did not find the experience to be very satisfying.

The food and service were excellent. Decor and atmosphere were OK. It was quite loud, difficult to converse. The menu is fairly expensive.

This could become one of my favorite places in town. In this case, BFF might stand for Bold Fargin' Flavor. Michael and Jordan are experimenting, and... wow. We're gonna need to go back.

I think Il Palato is an underrated gem. You can almost always get a table, it's pretty inside, the patio is awesome in good weather, and the food and drinks are delicious.

This place is a real gem. The food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. The portions are large; the dining room is beautiful and very comfortable. I would definitely highly recommend it. I've been here before with other couples, and we have never been disappointed. Everyone in our group raved about the food.

First time and will not be our last. Little tucked away gem in Clayton. Our server Jack took care of us throughout the evening. Looking forward to trying the eggplant on the next visit.

The ambience was amazing—dimly lit with gold music. All of the staff, from the hostess to the bartender to the servers was great! They were personable, welcoming, and accommodating! This all coupled with food that was fresh and delicious was a ‘win'...me and my friends all said we'd definitely come back! It's a great date spot, but also good for a night out with girlfriends!

Nothing better than a little pulato

Another fabulous meal at Il Palato. This is truly fine dining: exquisite food, the best just-baked bread, and Russell—the best server on earth. This is now our favorite restaurant.
