First time and last time here most likely. The server was great...but food woof. Ordered the avocado toast and all you taste is the balsamic reduction, I just don't understand how anyone including the chef could be proud of that...its a very strong flavor to begin with and you have the toast drenched in it, like what world do you like in...thats the only flavor you get. I had one slice and couldn't touch the rest. Shame on you.

Took the family for brunch. We had just a 2 minute wait and the hostess was so nice. The menue was wide and the options all looked great. The chicken tenders were home made, bagles and lox were perfect, and the hashbrowns crispy.

Love the CWE location. Unfortunately at Clayton I had terribly cooked bacon and unripe bananas on my French toast. Could only eat part of my meal last weekend. Go to CWE instead.

Tried for the 1st time. The food was ok. I ordered the lumberjack, which is a waffle with sausage and bacon crumbles, cheddar with 2 eggs. I added hash browns. However, they were very thin and fried too long, which made them very hard. Not much crumbles had asked for an additional sausage patty. My husband had the meet me in st louis which is a skillet, and he added grilled jalapeños. Some were grilled, and some were not. He also ordered a pancake on the side, which he indicated was not hot. Service was slow, other than that the atmosphere we very nice and inviting. Will I return, that is up in the air right now.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!My wife and I were visiting St. Louis and tried to enjoy this place for breakfast, got seated and waited...and waited...and waited...20 minutes after sitting down and getting absolutely no service we walked out, not a great welcome to St. Louis and not a great start the day. Shame on all of the servers that looked us dead in the eye and continued to ignore us and shame on the managers for hiring these incompetent workers. Would absolutely NOT recommend this place.
Great spot for a business breakfast. Has a private room for groups up to 10 which is rare in a breakfast spot. excellent food and service.

Kingside Diner never disappoints. I sometimes come to get some work done and eat at the same time and the staff is always on point. Even some of the kitchen staff comes out and checks on how you are doing????Parking: You have metered parking but it's not bad at all.
