i can't get over this place. i was just visiting, but would make it to Bleu every day if i could. the place is very quiet and quaint. perfect place to catch up and enjoy brunch! the french toast i ordered was out of this world; the creme on the side is homemade along with the caramel and it just to die for. the personal carrot cake was impeccable and easily the best carrot cake i've ever had, the icing was so good.

Very good food, great service. I took a star off because they didn't play any music in the dining room and it affected the atmosphere

Lovely place for tea, breakfast, and quiet time. Quaint and peaceful.

Arrived on a Saturday around 10:45 to place an order to go. There were about 3 or tables occupied. The was apparent front person (although there was a "seat yourself" sign). Waited probably 20 minutes without any acknowledgement. Would have walked out but I was on a mission to try something in order to help decide if Sunday Brunch would be worthwhile. Finally was able to place an order for a breakfast sandwich with rosemary truffle fries, a Club Blue sandwich with home fries, a cinnamon roll and a cookie. I waited for another 20 minutes or so for my order. The containers were higher quality. Drove home (about 10 minutes). Food was still warm. Home fries were lightest I have ever had. The club was a little dry but flavorful. The croissant on the breakfast sandwich was tougher than typical but the sandwich was good. Overall can't knock the food but the service had room for improvement. I think disorganized would be kind and had I not been on a mission, I would have walked out, ordered Panera from the app, driver over, picked up and driven home long before I left Blue.

The service and communication that I received was great but the overall quality of the cake I received was not good. It seemed very rushed and just overall very sloppy. When paying a good amount for a cake I expect a little bit more attention to details. With that being said my 3 year old didn’t care and I’m thankful it was for a small event.

Once again the owner of the Bleu eateries in Columbia is consistent - BAD! Not realizing that the Upper Crust had been sold, had I known I would NOT have ordered my mothers birthday cake, but I ordered it. For the past many years I have ordered her a carrot cake and since her birthday is in October asked for something fall instead of the usual carrot decorations they put on a carrot cake. In the past I have gotten lovely fall leaves and a simple 'Happy Birthday', this was done with a lot of simplicity, class and style. It looked like it came from a high end bakery. It was a beautiful center piece for the party. This year the cake looked like something from a discount grocery store! Neon red and yellow icing, gaudy decorations, it looked like something for a small child's birthday, not for a woman in her 80's. But not everyone can decorate a cake. I mean WHO spray paints a carrot cake?! There was still hope it would taste good. However, once sliced and served, all hope was lost, it was OK and edible but not much else. Gone was the rich, creamy, wonderful cake of the past. The pièces de ré·sis·tance of the birthday party was a bust. Needless to say no more birthday cakes from here. Very disappointing, especially for a very expensive cake. Lesson learned

Every time I visit Columbia Missouri I make a stop for Brunch here. The Bagel and lox was delicious. There is such a nice atmosphere here. Sorry there is some of my locs missing I had to try it before the picture!

On Monday, 9/16/19, I was to meet a Friend for a "Birthday Breakfast". The hours posted on the window to the left of the entrance clearly stated that Open times was 8:00 A,M. There appeared to be NO ONE inside and lights were not on. When the website was checked, the hours were repeated, and there was discrepancy noted, but clearly opening time was 8:00 A.M. I telephoned the number provided and left two messages and requested a return phone call from Management. No return calls were ever received. I drove across town to meet my Friend, only to be very disappointed...again...with the inconsistency of this Market operating at full capacity. While the bakery products are of good quality, there is so much management inconsistency, it begs one to wonder what the real future of Bleu in all of its iterations truly are. I hope they can "get it together" because the public is watching...and waiting.

This is a very elegant place, but there seems to be a SERIOUS lack of leadership. It's common knowledge that Sunday brunch will bring in crowds. There is no reason that only four wait staff would be working to help a packed restaurant. The wait staff are inattentive and forgetful. The food is average. You have to beg to get someone to pay attention to you. It would be easier to make your own food than come here.

Elegant! Love this place ! A very nice place for breakfast! The cake, brownies, cookies are nicely displayed, irresistible! Got an order of bacon, peanuts butter cheese cake, raspberry cupcake to go. Will definitely come back!!

they cater to our company. today for breakfast the gravy wasn't gravy, it was mushroom soup. Beef Stroganoff last week was missing beef. not to mention the pricing... EXPENSIVE
