4 stars because service was VERY long. Atmosphere reminds me of senior citizen home but the food was nothing like that! Firstly the rookie ousters were delicious and well spruced up with seasonings and onions. I really enjoyed it. There was bo fresh ocean taste which is a plus. Main meal was the lamb chops which were tender and creamy mashed potatoes. My table ordered the lobster mac and cheese for us all to share. It was missing something in the flavoring, it was just very bland. I wanted to like it but it did not do it for me. Brussel sprouts were the veggie of the day. Not a huge fan but these were steamed on some sauce which I enjoyed.

It had been a long time since I last dined in here. A couple weeks ago I was here for a social event, which was hosted in one of the private rooms. I ordered salmon and it was fairly decent; just wish the salmon wasn't coated with bread crumbs. My friend ordered the chicken dish and it was huge when it came in. We were all like 'where should we even start?'. Lol! I liked the dining atmosphere as it was very quiet and classic. The price here is of course at the higher end of my budget, but it won't hurt to return here once in a while.

The waiter was surly. The lights are blinding in this place. My friend really liked the salmon with squash. I wasn't impressed.

Neat little place in Southern Columbia. The wait staff is great the food just isn't at the top of what Columbia has to offer. Solid but nothing special.

Food is kind of hit and miss, but the atmosphere and service makes it a good option for a quiet date night. We had the duck, fried crawfish bites and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Duck in the sauce was good. Crawfish bites are in cornmeal, which I don’t personally like, but were executed well. Buffalo chicken was pretty bad. You could tell by the hard and mushy parts of the batter that it was cooked unevenly, and the breading came off in one slimy sheet. Something didn’t agree with me and I spent the next few hours sick.Restaurant is pretty comfy and quiet. Nice cozy wood tones everywhere, white table cloth. Server was prompt and courteous. Was pretty empty for a Friday night, but that’s a plus for me.

Bad restaurant. The only thing that was worse than the food with the horrible service. Young male waiter was rude, unfriendly, and zero people skills. I sure hope he is a student a MU and doesn’t rely on being a waiter the rest of his life or he will starve to death. I will never go back to this “restaurant” ever again.

We came here with a group of friends for dinner. Our service and food was amazing. Our servers name was Will. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made out dinning experiences so enjoyable. We had the Rack of Lamb and the Ahi Tuna special, both were delicious. We started with the Cru House Salad that was also amazing. We would highly recommend Grand Cru.

Loved this place! Our waiter, Will, could not have been better. He knows his stuff. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a classic steakhouse and we loved that. Do NOT remodel, as some reviews suggested. Love the character. It was an evening experience, not just a meal served quickly to get us in and out.

Wow, I guess if you can't say something nice about a place, don't say anything at all? Where to start? We visited on a Tuesday, the place was almost empty. Ordered a burger, burger must have sat on the grill for 30 minutes. It was so well done it looked like it was cancer on a plate. The fries were a deep dark brown. Looked like they were from grease from the night before. Instead of some nice 3 inch golden color, the fries were roughly one inch pieces that were dark brown. YUCK!We won't be back.

My husband, daughter, and I went to Grande Cru for a humbug dinner last night (8/19/2023), which was absolutely perfect. Our younger child had a great time and enjoyed trying new dishes. The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff was great. It was clean and elegant without making you feel uncomfortable. Lots of amazing food to try at really great pricing. The only downside? I left my to-go boxes on the table. I didn't realize until it was far too late and that was a real shame.
