Loooooove Harolds Donuts! We had some catered for our wedding, and the staff was easy to work with and affordable! Sad to see this place has since been closed, it was such a staple!!

Sad that Harold's isn't downtown anymore. And the donut quality has really fallen. Been a regular for several years, but since the downtown store changed to something else, they are simply not the same. The donuts are consistently soggy/greasy and the apple fritters, which used to actually look like fritters, were the perfect balance of crispy and tender, are now just thick round balls of dough with a few apple slices. The blueberry citrus were always a hit at work, but now they don't really taste much like blueberry or citrus, are always incredibly greasy and soggy and instead of the lite citrus glaze, now have a gooey, greasy frosting on top. It also has no blueberry or citrus flavor. It's like there is no one there who has any experience in baking or pastry making. They don't have any monthly specials anymore, either. Too expensive for mediocre grease.

Picked up doughnuts this morning the moment they opened and our doughnuts tasted old, hard and were cold. The Boston cream was just filled with whipped cream.

My favorite donuts in Como! They have really unique flavors and are always fresh. Not too pricey, even with all of their specialty options.

My favorite place to go grab some doughnuts during my time in college. I miss this place and can't wait to come back to CoMo for another visit.

First time at Harold's today. Sat in the drive-through line for a full 30 minutes while they serve the seven cars ahead of me! No way to exit line and walk in unavailable. Really really unacceptable. Worst drive through experience I've ever had. Finally got my glazed donuts -- good but nothing special. Won't try again until I can avoid the drive through.

We've been giving this place a try for a few years now and are consistently disappointed. 8:30 am today and they are out of EVERYTHING but regular and regular with cinnamon and sugar- and those are all burnt. I have no idea how this place stays in business with this false donut scarcity they create. It was understandable when they were new but now they're just leaving all the money on the table they could make. No idea why every other boutique donut shop Ive visited manages to have a good selection most of their open hours, but I wish this place would figure out how to manage that. Then they could focus on the consistency of their quality and not serve over or undercooked donuts so often. I've literally had uncooked dough in a cake donut and today's burnt excuses for donuts. Just go to Dunkin down the street and enjoy the selection.

Yummy vegan doughnuts! They had a larger variety of vegan doughnuts than I expected. I got lemon poppyseed, vanilla with vanilla glaze, and vanilla with cinnamon sugar. But they had a variety of chocolate options too. All vegan doughnuts are also gluten free.

So it's been a few years and thought we'd try Harold's again. It was fine! Tasty enough, but nothing that makes me want this to be my go-to donut place (we actually found a new place we like better). But I wanted to update my review and I added another star (last time we went to a different location that was messy, and the owner actually contacted me after the review to address the situation, which was nice. So that's why I only gave 2 stars originally). We went to their place off of Nifong this time, in the drive-thru.

Always out of doughnuts- they are good though and I like the coffee. Now I don’t bother going because I’ve been there too many times when they are out or selection is minimal. :(

When I first went to Harold's their Apple Fritter was SUBLIME. Fried to perfection, soft and gooey center. It was great, and kept me going and paying their prices for years. Lately however, something has been. up. The last few times I stopped in and ordered an Apple Fritter it was basically a blob of dough with a few pieces of apple in it. If they could return to the way they used to make them, I'll change it back to a 5 star.

I like the donuts, but they under produce everyday. When we've gotten there at 10 am, they are out most of their menu and you're just stuck with the 3 gluten-free donuts they have left and maybe a glazed. If you want one on the weekend, don't even bother to go by there. I don't waste my time driving there anymore, especially when there's at least 2 other nearby options that aren't a complete waste of my time and don't leave my kid in tears in the back seat.

Absolutely wonderful donuts! Outside walk-up window is great for social distancing and you can still look in the window to see all the beautiful creations!

By 10am on Sunday they were out of most donuts. We ended up with mostly glazed yeast donuts. I found them to be tougher than I was used to. The cake donut was the best in the batch and there were only 2 left.

I would have gave them 4 stars, but when I cut my glazed donut in half, there was a hair cooked into it. Will not be returning.
