Best food, very nice servers, and now they're closed! :( While I could definitely see some things that could have been improved about the ambience, I'm sure that being short-staffed also hurt them. I don't know the real reason behind why they are closing down, but they will definitely be missed.

I walked in unsure of what to do, I wasn't greeted or informed to find a table myself. I stood around for a couple minutes before asking someone. The menu is pretty straight forward and easy to choose from with a lot of pictures. I was not a fan of what I chose to eat (Bibin bap) but other options looked tasty. The environment was seemingly too calm it was almost creepy. Waited on the food for over 30 minutes. I wood try it again to see if I'd enjoy anything else but I would probably not go back a third time. They also only accept cash and that was inconvenient

I would definitely recommend this place. I ordered the kimchi soup with pork and requested it not too spicy. The chef came out and let me taste the broth 3 times before I told him it was perfect. Not many chefs would care enough to make sure it was to my liking. It tasted awesome by the way!You go Ko Jo ba!

I am a local and go there once with a friend. My comments: The food is average and the value is so so. The price is super expensive. Say if the cost of making the food is $1 they will charge you about $7, while other restaurants charge around $3 to $4. Misleading advertising. Their "seafood pancake" is actually pancake powder and onion and very little squid from a package of imitation seafood at the grocery. Cost around $2. Charge $17. Heineken beer. 1 bottle charge $6.5. Barbeque DIY. So so. Cost around $10. Charge $52. Worth around $25-30. The restaurant has very few customers when we came by. Probably just a hit and run operation. We come as a group of two. Charge us $50 each after one barbeque order, a seafood pancake and few drinks. We go to several restaurants. Never see something worst around Columbia Missouri.

Food is good enough I continue coming back although the service is always terrible and some items are very overpriced.I ordered pot stickers. The menu I got said 6 for $9. They brought out 5. I politely call the waitress over (who never checks on you or refills your drinks) to show her the menu said 6 pieces, not 5. She got the owner and he said that he must have forgotten to fix the price on that menu and brought me a different one to show me he fixed it in others. He didn’t offer an compensation or apology in the least. The the unobservant waitress spent several minutes checking the rest of the menus. The menus are COVERED in crossed out items and prices and handwritten write-overs.

Love their food. Authentic place. Hot pots to share and soju to buy. Korean and Japanese food. Just make sure to check your order if you get food to go. They tend to make some mistakes.

Bad service, bad food, stupid expensive food, harass us that we didn't give enough tip. Threatened to take it from our card. Charge per cup of soda without saying refills cost. Highly recommend going somewhere else.

They got our carryout order wrong, which is fine, but then expected us to bring the wrong order back so they could reserve it to other customers. Add in the sticky floors, and this place seems dangerously unhygienic.

Very yummy Bi Bim Bop and spicy noodles with vegetables. Large portions too. I will be back.

We were pleasantly surprised at how good this place was! We've been eyeing it for a while and we're glad we stopped by. The atmosphere is almost like an Asian store but a restaurant. There is an extensive menu with lots to choose from, and authentic dishes as well. Wait staff were very friendly, answered all our questions about the menu. It came with appetizers/side dishes like kimchi, bean sprouts, sausages, which were good. We need to try the pancake appetizers next time. - Galbi (4.5/5): a bit pricey for the portion size but yummy overall. Cooked well, very flavorful, paired well with the onions - Spicy pork dolsat bibimbap (3.5/5): the bowl was good, but it was a bit oily. The waitress let us know this bowl came with more veggies and less meat but it was still good proportions.

Late review.. Due to graduation weekend crowd earlier in the day, we were told only 3 service of rice left. How can a Korean restaurant run out of of rice? Lol! Staff was friendly and our party of 5 was the only one left in there restaurant. We ordered duck and Galbi Beef. Both were fresh enough but lack flavor. The Banchan was half Korean and half not. Sliced Hot Dog? Hmmm Overall nice but not quite authentic.

I'm still not sure about this place. The food was... okay. The service was... okay. I guess everything was just 'okay'. This was a very bland dining experience. The food was not really authentic. The spices were wrong or missing... Or something. They ran out of rice. How does that happen? So three stars? Maybe I'm being generous but there wasn't really anything offensive or inedible so... I guess it stays at three stars.

This was beyond disrespectful and weird. I dined there with 5 of my friends. First off, the place smelled weird, like a farm. The food came in and the waitress wouldn't refill our drinks we would have to ask multiple times. I was CHASED by one of the workers to my car and harassed with my friends to pay the waitress more tips. Very rude and disrespectful. Wouldn't go there again.

Authentic Korean style food very good. But, a $65.00 meal for two did not have rice served with it. We both have lived in S. Korea and rice is always served with a meal including bulgogi.

I absolutely love this place! I've tried several things on the menu and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food or how it tastes. This is one of my personal 'go to' places for lunch.
