Delicious food! Great spot for veg and carnivores alike. The food is fresh and consistently well made. A welcoming, vibrant and clean dining experience. As for pricing, it's seriously reasonable and on point for authentic Cuban. Highly recommend, as it's become our favorite local restaurant.

I've passed by the restaurant while walking to classes numerous times - always thinking to myself that I'd like eating here. I can now confidently say I sorely regret not stopping by much, much sooner. After finally sitting down with a group of friends, I ordered the combination platter with a side of yuca fries.I highly recommend the combination platter to those who haven't tried Cuban food before, as it provides a great introduction to a few of the wonderful dishes available. The yuca fries or the yuca con mojo make fantastic sides to any of the entrees, as do the tostones.Since visiting, I genuinely cannot stop thinking about the Lechon, Arroz Con Pollo, or legendary Ropa Vieja. Sagua La Grande now sits near the top (perhaps even #1) on my list of favorite restaurants in Columbia, MO.Vegetarian options: There are a number of excellent vegetarian friendly options on the menu.

It was absolutely delicious, and the owners were incredibly nice! I can't wait to come back and bring the family. God bless!

Wonderful service and exceptional food!! We got the vegetarian bowls, fried yuka and guava juice. All to die for, especially the smashed plantains!!

Food was out quickly, perfectly to-order, and SO delicious. I've been on the hunt for a good cubano sandwich for a while, and I've FINALLY FOUND ONE! Everything else we ordered was delicious as well. Will definitely be going back for a cubano sometime :)

Amazing addition to the Columbia food scene. Authentic, fresh Cuban food that I'm legitimately addicted to. Head chef is from Cuba and the flavor of all the dishes I've tried is incredible. Absolutely worth trying if you haven't had it yet.

Great potential. Food was bland even for Cuban food. Use of canola oil in some of the sauces makes it a culinary mine field for those sensitive to this machine oil. Decent Cubano sandwich. Beverages limited.

Fantastic food. The owner was very friendly and chatted with us for a little while about how several of the menu items were made. Plan to visit again in the near future. You should too!

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I have to say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the place. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and they made sure that I felt right at home. But the real star of the show was the food. The menu was filled with a wide range of delicious Cuban dishes, and I had a hard time deciding what to order. In the end, I went with the Cubano sandwich and it did not disappoint. The tender, flavorful beef was cooked to perfection and served alongside a heap of perfectly cooked rice and beans. Overall, I had a fantastic experience here and I can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes. If you're a fan of Cuban food, or just looking for a great meal in a friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

This place is AMAZING! Omg their food is so good I could eat it daily! Pictured is a Cuban sandwich and black beans, but we also got croquetas de los sobre (my apologies for butchering the language) and empanadas which were just *chefs kiss*Please keep being incredible. Thank you ?

Sagua is such a fun addition to downtown Columbia! The diversity in food is much needed in our community. I loved going and learning about what tradition Cuban food was! 1000% worth going and getting a taste of their cuisine, it was yummy!!

So we were excited to get a Cuban on the road while driving through town. I am a truck driver so it isn't easy to finagle the truck to this downtown spot we get here and hour before there posted time of closing and there are no lights on in the place so closed. I wish places would update there hrs on the platforms that the advertise

We were excited to see a well rated Cuban spot while we were on the road. We ordered the Papas Rellenas, Cuban Burger with the Tomato Cucumber Side Salad, and Lechón Sandwich with Black Beans and Rice. The Lechón Sandwich was not the best. The pork didn't have enough seasoning to really be a Lechón Sandwich. However the black beans and rice were good. The Papas Rellanas were lacking seasoning and flavor as well, but were surprisingly large and meaty. The Cuban Burger was the standout! The burger was extremely flavorful, well prepared, and the perfect balance of condiments. This burger alone is worth the visit. If this review was for the burger alone, it would be a five star!

Amazing! Our service was friendly, fast, & very helpful. Everything we ordered was packed full of flavor & the meats were very tender. My wife & I will definitely come back!

Katy & Greg are the best. The love, care, & dedication to the work they do shines through in all aspects of the dining experience. My wife and I drop in every time we visit Columbia, and for her (she's Cuban) it feels like visiting home. For me, having worked many years in food service, it's touching to be apart of the traditions Greg & Katy are keeping alive, while adding their personal touch in a hands-on approach that is rare in any industry. Their commitment to excellence is just wow. Also, their Cuban Fritada is hands-down the best burger i have ever had in my life. Nothing but love and respect for these folks & what they do.<3
