I eat here on a regular basis mostly at lunchtime. The service is always top notch. I enjoy brining other friends to Bangkok Gardens so they can experience some of the best Thai food in the Midwest. There are many menu items to choose from but my favorite it the green curry lo mein with a number 3 spice level.

Been here twice for takeout in the last month. Yes get the #7 ground beef. Their spice level is hotter than mine. 2 is plenty spicy. Thai tea good (hard to eff that up!).

Food was, as always amazing. Manager let me know while placing my to go order there was a 30-45 minute wait which was appreciated. Best Thai food in Columbia by far.

While traveling I found this amazing spot to get some delicious food and drinks. The staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and are extremely helpful with suggestions. On the suggestion of Jason I got the number 9 with tofu spiced lvl 3. Perfect amount of heat mixed with the veggies and rice made a perfect dinner after driving all day. Masks are required so covid is still a thing when you read this, being yours with you. You will not be disappointed eating here.

We were disappointed with this Thai restaurant. We had the yellow curry with chicken and pad Thai with chicken. Both were tasteless—we asked for a medium hot spice . The decor was ok but more for a college bar scene.

Lunch at this downtown gem is a treat for the senses. Daily specials and tried and true Thai men items make eating here a fun adventure. I had the pad Thai and added shrimp and crab Rangoon to the mix. There are interesting teas and a full bar. I opted for a French rose making my combination heavenly. This place is in the heart of downtown and is very classy on design. Service was fast and friendly. So relaxing and such delicious fare.

Have been a long-time fan of the Thip Thai but didn't realize it had moved and now Chim's was there ... so that gave me an excuse to try Bangkok Gardens and I'm so glad I did. It was wonderful. I got pad thai chicken but with a strong sauce that was outstanding. They also had more local beers on tap than I remember from visits a few years ago. Prices great, service excellent. All in all one of my top meal this visit!

Really uncomfortable chairs. They said is right next to the door. It was so cold I couldn't take my jacket off the whole time and was still cold.

Food was delicious and staff was friendly. We are vegan and ordered the vegetable pot stickers. They looked so much like the pork so we asked our waiter and he said they get that question weekly and it was in fact vegan. Will definitely return

I had high expectations of Bangkok Gardens going in, and while the atmosphere/decor was nice, my meal was a bit underwhelming. I ordered the coconut curry (level 3/5 spice), and the flavor was pretty bland. Furthermore, the curry consisted of probably 80% bamboo with only a small portion of chicken. Coconut curry is a typical order for me at Thai restaurants, so I am pretty familiar with how it is usually prepared. That being said, my curry was sub par. I asked for a sauce to add flavor to my curry and the waiter brought peanut sauce, which was nice of him, but it didn't help much. Given my experience with my meal, I would've given the restaurant a 3 star review. However, my boyfriend enjoyed his meal (fried pork with sweet and sour) and because the restaurant setting itself was nice and the service was good, I would probably go back and try something else from the menu.

Came here on a date night not really knowing what to expect. The manager greeted us, we looked at the menu and decided to stay. I ordered the Moo Taud and my girlfriend ordered the Coconut Curry. Each were with a level 3 spiciness. While my dish had plenty of food and great flavor. The Coconut Curry was rather bland and didn't have much meat in it. We asked for some peanut sauce to maybe enhance the flavor somehow and it didn't do much. For the price, you get a great amount of food, but you might need to be selective on the dishes you pick.

Bangkok Gardens has always been one of my favorite restaurant and it’s where I chose to go on my birthday this year. The evening started on a bad note-everyone’s water tasted salty. The waiter got us another and it was the same so my husband and I ordered drinks and my kids ordered sprite. My husband’s bottle of beer was the only drink that tasted ok. We had put in an order of their sampler platter for an appetizer so we waited quite awhile for that. When it did everything was really soggy. We paid for what we had ordered then hightailed it out of there. Not sure if there are new owners or shorthanded in the kitchen but sadly I don’t want to repeat that evening.

Damn. The Thai iced tea and coffee were delicious. I ordered the 3 curry pork- to die for! Be careful when picking the degree of heat. I got the 4 out of 5 and whoa. My Bella ordered the kao paht with pork. They know what they're doing here. Definitely coming back.
