The bartender never brought me the drink I asked for until it was time for me to leave. I think the corn nuggets are over priced. I had a cheese burger that wasn't super bad but it wasn't super good either and for as long as I waited, my french fries were cold.

I don’t normally make reviews but I was so irritated by my experience at the 5th down bar recently. Came in on a Saturday night with a few friends who like to play pool. It was quite busy when we walked in, no open seating other than a couple spot at the bar. We went to stand by the bar to get a drink and ask about food. Stood there for a while before even being acknowledged (which ended up being by another staff person). However, a couple customers by us were being served without any issues. I don’t remember the bartender’s name but she was kind of taller, blonde hair.
The bartender was very much full of attitude and sass as I watched her interact with others, including staff. I overheard several customers complaining about her service.
After about 20 mins of waiting for a drink, patiently, another server helped us us stating she noticed we had been there for a while. By that time, it was also too late to try and order food (around 9pm). We didn’t want to be those people who ordered right before the kitchen closes. As we got our drinks, we were then told by the bartender that we could not order at the bar since we got our drinks from someone I else. I was completely caught off guard and confused.
A little bit later, I went to speak to another patron sitting at the bar and they were telling me how long they had been ignored by the bartender. When they finally got her attention to pay the tab, the bartender was very rude and dismissive. It really shocked me. I watched her be hateful to some and absolutely sweet to certain others. Oh, forgot to mention how many shots I saw her take with those customers she was nice to.
I like this bar the few times I’ve visited but will no longer be going back due to the despicable behavior and treatment I witnessed from the bartender. I don’t tolerate bullies or bad customer service. I will also for-warn my friends or anyone who asks me about the establishment. I hope the owners would not allow this type of customer service/behavior and maybe try to change it for the future.
Other than my review above, the drinks are priced well, strong, and it seems to be a popular spot on the weekends. They do have a cover charge at some point in the night. $5, isn’t bad though.

Great dive bar with a pool table and other games. But the HIGHLIGHT was the corn nuggets!!!! A must try. Basically cream of corn in a fried, bite-sized tidbit. YUM! I can't speak for anything else because we ONLY had the corn nuggets (and a long Island, which was appropriately strong). Excited to go back.
Highly recommend the deep fried broccoli cheese balls.Very friendly and efficient staff.Shout out to Stacey!

The food is affordable and tasty, the staff are great. The atmosphere is nice too. They have a pool table, juke box and a bar. They also have plenty of tables if you prefer a table. I've enjoyed coming here each time I've gone. Keep up the good work folks!

I love the fifth down all the staff Renee sage and everyone are always so helpful and smiling and I'll keep going back especially for the fried cauliflower
