Beautiful building, great acoustics. Tab Benoit was Awesome as usual. Only downfall was the price of the drinks. $8 for a can of Ultra......

I was punched in the face by another patron tonight and there was no security. I was scared the rest of the night. I have been going here for over 10 years. I will never go again.

I have been going to the Blue Note since I was 19 and a college Freshman. I am 48 now but still love to dance at a club. Sadly, Deja Vu is no more as well as many other places. The Blue Note used to have great shows and fun nights to dance. Now...a lot of country and the dance nights involve DJ's who don't know how to DJ. New Year's Eve was a Disco night. The DJ had no idea what music to play. He asked us (personally asked us) and then played horrible music that was not Disco. Recently (Feb 15th) we bought expensive tickets to a 2000's dance party. I don't know what that was but as a serious club goer fro 2000-now...he didn't play 2000's. Not one full song was played. There were no songs played with smooth lead ins to the next. It was a waste of time and money. I was pissed. That was my Valentine's Day night. Not to mention the girls stripping and laying on the stairs and floor behind us. No security stopped them. I am older but I still get down. I would still be on the dry bar at The Vu if it was open. Do not recommend this place anymore. 30 years as a customer and this place is awful now. Maybe find good DJ's.

Andrew Wells

Excellent concert venue. Easy to get drinks and merch.

Josette Kinsey

Poor security people blocking fire exits and standing in the aisles

Phyllis Perkins

Horrible since Richard King sold the venue. The not so new owners now book terrible unknown acts. Not worth the money or the trouble.

Sticky floors, terrible sound base… won’t be going again

Was there for The Kay Brothers. Interesting band. The Blue Note is a Columbia Icon. Awesome venue! My only ask is improving the bathrooms, expanding, and cleaning.
