Not impressed. We got ribs, brisket and house chips. The ribs had so much black pepper on them I could only eat one. The brisket was fine, but nothing special. I will say it was late in the evening, maybe the food is better earlier in the day?The service and drinks were good. I'd say everything was a little overpriced.

One of my favorite places in Columbia. Super cozy atmosphere. One of the best bbq sandwiches I’ve ever had. Bartenders are awesome. All within one of Columbia’s most historic, iconic buildings.

GREAT Food~GREAT Service!!! As a Kansas City BBQ Competitor, I must say this was some of the Absolute BEST Brisket I have Ever Had...And in a 1st Class Atmosphere...This IS the Complete Package!!!
Had to return to try the bbq. Had the turkey sandwich with baked beans and my date had the brisket sandwich with the mac. Everything was very rich and flavorful, we really enjoyed! Bartender/server was super friendly, almost bubbly and made us feel very welcome. For drinks I had an IPA and my date enjoyed a Bloody Mary. Very small space and very loud, made conversation very difficult but otherwise a terrific evening.

What a fun spot! I sat here with several others who were staying at the hotel, and I love a good hotel bar. This one just has such a unique spin to it. To be fair, Missouri wine isn't my favorite tasting wine, but the one I had wasn't terrible. Next time I visit, I am going to have to try their food. The only thing I would suggest would be to train the bartender on what is considered a dry red wine because the one I was given definitely wasn't dry, but that's okay!

I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. Our experience was marred by their appalling practice of serving moldy cornbread, which was both revolting and overpriced at approximately $5. The presence of mold completely ruined the meal for our entire party, making it impossible for anyone to finish their plates. Moreover, despite our disappointment, they charged us full price for the other dish we ordered, despite our dissatisfaction. This establishment's lack of regard for their customers' well-being and refusal to rectify the situation left us deeply dissatisfied.
