I've been to Zaxby's all over the U.S. and this location is the worse compared to those other ones. I've visited this location three times with the mindset of the first two times we're "flukes". Today I stopped by the drive thru for lunch (12:30ish)and ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Instead of the lettuce and tomatoes that came with the sandwich, they put pickles only. The chicken breast was burnt and old. Then to complete this, they put the sauce on top of my bun. I guess stumbled upon the secret menu and ordered the backwards meal. There's not a fourth times a charm.

I just stopped working here Columbia 4 days ago do not work here... do not eat here. I gotten food poisoning as an employee and after 110 hours of work without pay I quit. the gen.manager. isn't even a line cook they failed inspections health codes at a whopping 72 out a hundred failed I urge you eat at Taco Bell next store

The only thing worse than the food is the customer service. I was shorted an order and when I addressed the unsalted, burnt fries, soggy chicken, and toast with no butter I was told it was because it was someone’s 1st day. So that makes it ok to serve me trashy food? No apology, no nothing. Just a rude person who shouldn’t be working there telling me too bad someone got a new job and will make my food any way they want to. Stay far away from this place

The only thing worse than the food is the customer service. Just because someone is new does not mean you can serve terrible food with no apology. Zaxby’s used to be good. Stay far away from here

Food was okay but tastes over salted and the sweet tea is diabetic level. The real issue here is the interior is closed and the drive thru was a mess. Service was under par.

Worst fast food experience I've ever had. Rude lady in the drive thru clearly has no experience in customer service and her hair all out and hanging down is nasty when people areive to the window. Good luck going here .

Did Zaxby’s corporate just abandon their standards in Columbia? Used to have two locations that were great and now it’s one location that is never open inside, the drive through is insanely slow despite little customer traffic and the food quality is terrible compared to what it used to be. Zax sauce is awesome so I’ll suffer through some incompetence to get it but this is a whole other level we’re dealing with here.

wanted Dine in, approx 11:30 am on Monday, sad thing is lobby was locked, no sign on window advising of issue drive thru busy but we were traveling thru town and don't eat in our vehicle plus have a trailer with height restrictions behind us. walked next door to taco bell. while eating there watched multiple attempts walk-ins that drove off. must be nice that Zaxby's can afford to throw away that much business.

Let me preface this by saying I’ve worked in food service for 7 years. We placed an order on the app for 2 shrimp meals. When we got to the window, we were told they weren’t taught how to make the shrimp, couldn’t refund my order, OR print a receipt for me. I was told there wasn’t a manager on duty and to call the GM. When I called the number provided, it was obvious that it was someone in the store based on the background noise and couldn’t provide any help on how to refund my order. I ended up having to call corporate and have to now wait for a call for our refund. 30+ minutes of my time was wasted, I have $22 held up for 14 days and I didn’t even get any food. Just ridiculous and unprofessional.

This place is going down faster than Jack in the box did in Columbia, I just left this place with the worst order of food this place has had the audacity to serve. It’s a shame as I don’t remember it always being like this. I mean they don’t even have staff to allow you to go inside anymore, which okay understandable but then they don’t even try they’re just filling in for a paycheck. It’s dangerous having people with attitudes like this handling food. It tasted like the grease and fryer haven’t been cleaned in weeks! Then how do you have a freestyle soda machine and 4 sodas available, that also taste flat and watery. I feel bad for the workers as it seems very poorly managed. Usually wouldn’t complain or comment like this but on top of not getting a refund I’m upset I wasted an hour in the drive thru for horrible food that made me nauseous when I ordered an hour ahead to pickup in store.

Workers were all nice even though we couldn't understand them at no fault of there's. Food was extremely disappointing seeing as how it was my birthday lunch which made the fact it was so bad that much worse. Everything tasted old and the oil smelled like it hadn't been changed in awhile. The soda machine tasted absolutely flat on all the sodas regardless of which one I or my sister tried. Will be skipping if I'm ever through there again

The food at Zaxby's left me utterly disappointed. I foolishly ordered a chicken strip basket when the signs were there, only to receive reheated, rubbery strips that tasted like regret. To add insult to injury, they dared to charge me for soda they mysteriously ran out of, and they conveniently forgot my dipping sauce. Suffice it to say, I won't be subjecting myself to that culinary catastrophe again. Problem solved—for me, at least. It just is disappointing because a year ago, they were perfect.
