Nice old school BBQ joint. Good pork and great potato salad. Ribs were awesome. I'll skip the brisket next time. Excellent hand cut French fries. Super nice people.

Spent $20 on a brisket platter. It came with 4 pieces of brisket and 2 sides. That's like charging $3 per piece of brisket... outrageous price for ok bbq. Spend the same at jackstack where you get a good portion of food and better quality.

I’ll start by saying I do not like going out for BBQ. I’d rather have my husband’s. On our way home from vacation we seen the restaurant was still open at 9:30 so we decided to stop in. It was limited side options because they were starting to close down and had already tossed a few. Let me tell you, I was impressed! Not my husband’s, but impressed nonetheless. My husband chose the sampler platter with slaw and potato salad and I went with the brisket and pork with baked beans and potato salad. Everything was hot and delicious!!! If you haven’t tried Dempsey’s BBQ, you’re missing out!

Came in for dinner by myself. Had a hard time getting seated as there was a group waiting for a pickup order and some confusion. I had the chicken plate with mac and cheese and bbq beans. The chicken was flavorful and moist. The beans were also good. The Mac and cheese was like eating yellow cardboard noodles.Once my food was served my waitress never returned to the table. My drink sat empty from the time I got my food to the time I left. She did have the time to check her tips fromThe departing tables around me. After finishing my meal I had to go to the front to finally retrieve my bill.I’d come back for the chicken, but will stay away because of the lack of service.My visit was at 7pm on 2/29/24

Great place for adults, kids and seniors. They have a big party room too, free of charge, for larger parties. My family celebrated an early Thanksgiving meal in that room and couldn't have been happier with both the food and the service. Kids loved playing the Claw game!

We always stop and charge at the Tesla Superchargers behind Dempseys and it always smells so good, so I had to try some this evening and it didn’t disappoint! I ordered a half slab of ribs ahead and cruised through the drive through before heading to the charger. The ribs were huge and so tender they fell off the bone. The potato salad was also delicious! I was full after 1 rib so haven’t tried the baked beans but we will definitely be making this our road trip pit stop tradition!Parking: Tesla supercharger right behind them!
