As always the food was phenomenal. I've been reading some of the past reviews and some of them are laughable. We just left and everything was great, Eva was our server and she was very nice. I had the pork steak and it wasn't as good as usual but it was still great, that happens from time to time . My fiance got the brisket sandwich and my kids got a burger and chicken strips. Everything was good. Thank you guys . Also I've read some reviews saying the owners are rude. The first few times we've eaten there, one of them always came to check on the customers and they have never been rude even in the slightest. Again thank you guys

Waitress was absolutely fantastic. Fried okra was very bland and the pork steak looked good but was flavorless and tasted nothing like barbecue as if it was done on electric maybe. I have been barbecuing for 30 years and eating ST. Louis bbq for 46 years and the pork steak was a big disappointment!

Great food, large portions and fair prices!My son and I went on a Thursday afternoon and enjoyed the friendly service and fresh food. I recommend the brisket sandwich and potato salad. The okra and fried potatoes are also delicious. The fried corn wasn't my favorite thing, but it was better with some bbq sauce on top.Vegetarian options: Potato salad, fried corn, salad, okra, Cole slaw, and a few other sides.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu has several choices

Unbelievable. So nice well prepared and still I just do not like their smoked meat.I prefer my BBQ simmered in sauce and falling off the bone.The potato salad smells more like an onion salad.Definitely not a good choice for couples.The deserts look incredible.Loved the chicken strips until I got some that were not so fresh .(that was a terrible night) and stopped me from eating there ever again.The place is usually busy.But have to consider there is just not that many places in town to choose from to eat.

FORGET ANY OTHER BBQ place in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Take a drive to Festus, MO and eat at Kettle Hut. It is 10000% better than Bandannas and Super Smokers. We always ask for Savannah to wait on us. She always takes care of us and is always happy. Simply put, Savannah is AMAZING and surely a true asset to the establishment. Our party has enjoyed everything we have ever tried. Our favorites are the potatoes and onions, smoked turkey, brats and ribs. Oh...and the Fried Green Tomatoes are yummy. Yesterday we all tried the special of HAM and BEANS with cornbread. OMGOSH.......nobody in the area can beat Kettle Huts Ham and Beans. DELICIOUS, the cornbread too!! I wish they would put Ham and Beans on the menu permanently and offer as a meal or a side dish. On the way out we complimented the owner on her Amazing food. She was very sweet and appreciative. The restaurant is a favorite in our family. Hats off to this great family owned establishment. My mouth is watering for more.

Quick late evening stop on a road trip. Was in the mood for steak & salad so this was a perfect find! Servers and young hosts were all hustling-no slackers here which obviously spilled over to the kitchen staff! Chef put out a perfect ribeye special that we shared along with a very generous dinner salad. Extra plates were brought without us having to ask. All around A+ - thank you for making our long day of driving worth the stop!!!

My husband and I have been to this establishment several times. We have tried to over look the manager/owner whoever she is, every time that we have been in there she has had an attitude, even when she is not our server. Today was it.. We went to have Rib-eyes which was their “special”. The server was fantastic, the steaks were nothing but fat and full of gristle, also they had a strange taste. The server asked if I wanted to talk to the manager, at $26.00 a piece, you bet I do. She begins to tell me how the meat was cut, marinated, takes both of our plates away with the rest of our food still on there and said she would take both of them off the bill. Well, she didn’t she only took one and we didn’t get the rest of the food we paid for. I don’t know what her problem is, but she has no business working with the public. We know a lot of people that go in there, and I just talked to a few that said they are done going there also.
