“Missouri has three Mexican restaurants that are worth visiting. Iguanas is on that list. I have visited the other two restaurants in the area, they both met my expectations of the food and I was impressed that they were both very good. Iguanas has a unique and original way of presenting food. Even though it was the same thing I ordered from the other two it was cooked differently and was delicious. I recommend Iguanas and will be back again.“
“Atmosphere is on par for traditional Mexican restaurants. I used to not particularly care for this particular place but they've updated their menu and improved the salsa, queso and guac. I'm not ready to give 5 stars yet as I've only been back once since they updated the menu but if they are able to keep this up I'll update again after I've been back a few times.Parking: The lot available to this business isn't very large so I could see parking being difficult to find especially around lunch time.“
“Wow!! Great spot for out in Pevely na date y serve their lunch menu till 3 even on Saturdays which was incredible. The salsa and cheese dip were both really good. I had the vegetarian chile poblano and the portion was extremely generous. There were 2 poblanos and I could only finish one. Sweetener packet to show size.“
“Second time eating at this festive restaurant. Love the authentic Mexican decor. Service is always outstanding. I always opt for the spicy salsa and mix 1/2 n 1/2 with the regular salsa for the chips.Our meals were served quickly and we were there at lunch with a pretty good crowd but not packed.The #2 lunch was a taco and cheese enchilada. Served piping hot. The taco was excellent. The cheese enchilada was nice and "cheesy". No skimp on the cheese or sauce.I had a taco salad with shrimp, chicken and beef served in the tortilla bowl. Lettuce was nice and crisp and plenty of meat. There was a "soupy" mix at the bottom of the tortilla bowl that I guess was from damp lettuce. However, I actually liked how it soaked into the shell. “The food here is always good. The prices what you expect at this type of restaurant. The atmosphere is not bad. The service, however, could be better. The waiter was really politte. He just didn't check our drinks very much. My nephews food is always brought to the table way later than the rest of the food. This causes a lot of stress at the table. He is autistic and doesn't understand why he doesn't get his food. This needs to be better.“
