“Absolutely love this place due to the brisket not being too fatty and the wonderful atmosphere. They offer a hefty discount if you pay with cash, I highly recommend planning ahead and utilizing the offer. Their discount is better than what your credit card pays back.Occasionally it seems like everyone wants BBQ on the same day and the wait time during the lunch rush can sometimes push a person over their lunch break time allowance.Watch the younger staff, they like to handle dirty cash money with their gloved hands, then go touch the meat with those same gloves. It’s a training and mindset thing, the gloves are not there to keep the staff clean, they are used to stop cross contamination. Wearing of gloves causes people to be less conscious of what they are doing with their hands, gloves can be a bad thing.I like the tray method with butcher paper, something different when compared to other restaurants. The coffee BBQ sauce is good, I think it has real coffee grounds in it. When finished, you can quickly buss your own table while walking out the door. No tipping is required at the table, but they do have a tip jar at the register. This is my personal opinion of my experiences at this restaurant. I highly recommend this Sugarfire even with the concerns that I presented.“

“The ribs were some of the best I've ever had from a restaurant. The only ribs I can think of that were definitely better were homemade. They have a couple of weird rules, however. I can't eat many carbs without getting sick, and all of their sides are straight carbs. No problem, I asked if I could get some brisket without sides, I was told that I could, but I would still have to pay for the sides. Strange, I thought. They had an option on the menu to order brisket by the pound, so I asked about that, but apparently, then you aren't allowed to eat in the restaurant. You have to leave. It was very odd to me since there were no waiters, and aside from my group, there were only three other groups of people and at least two dozen empty tables. I just got a full rack of ribs, which was absolutely delicious. I would have liked to try the brisket, though.Dietary restrictions: There are not many options for a low-carb diet since everything, but the ribs have to come with sides, or you're forced to pay for them without getting them. Nearly all the sides are some kind of potato, or corn.“

“The food was fantastic and the owner (I believe) came out a talked to us. Very nice guy! I would recommend anything on the menu. I had the brisket, my fiancé had the chicken and my dad had the pork steak. All cooked to perfection. Nice to have something different than a chain restaurant all the way from Ohio! Thank you! Can't wait till next year to have that deliciousness again!“
