“Food is amazing, I love the chiken and waffles, its cheap for how much food you get. They lady at the register was very nice and friendly but there was a couple of drinks out but thats not her fault. But over all one of my favorite places to eat in doniphan .”

Bartender (Amy)??‍♀️ was a sweetheart & she whipped up some awesome drinks!!?The owner was appreciative of our business, so that is also a plus!! ✅ Only complaint is, no mini tacos? on the menu. “I've been to LHG twice, only stayed to eat once. The first time was about a year ago in the summer. The food was good but on the high side as far as cost goes. The service was pretty good but not exceptional. The old fashioned lemonade was GREAT! Tasted like homemade, just the right sweetness, not like that sour, tart stuff that passes for lemonade at most places. :) The second attempt was last week, (Jan 3, 2024). Our party of 8 went in to have lunch. We rang the bell and the VERY frazzled hostess/FOH person came and said, "We're very short staffed; I've called someone in and they're on their way, but it will be a wait." ok, so we waited. 45 minutes later their other staff person had still not arrived, and there was no indication things were going to get any better. We left and went to another restaurant just down the block. We got in immediately and were VERY pleased with their service and food. Unless I REALLY want lemonade, I probably won't go to LHG again.”

“I have been in Georgia for the past 9 years. I did live in Doniphan before that and Mi Casa was one of my favorite places to eat. It was always delicious and service was always good. It did not disappoint me this time either after 9 years. Still fantastic food and service. It's changed some since last time as far as appearance goes but that was nice too. I definitely would recommend it!”

“I always enjoy Captain D’s as the food is delicious and there is a wide variety to choose from. I was sad to see the Captain D’s shut down in my local area, so seeing that there was one in Doniphan was a treat! Layla took our group’s order. She offered some great advice on what meal to choose from. Throughout the whole dining experience she made sure we were taken care of. She even went out of her way to clear our finished plates and trash once we were done with them. I’d definitely recommend Captain D’s for anyone who loves seafood. Give Layla a raise! ?”

“Food was absolutely delicious and service was very prompt, courteous and pleasant. Only negative was the smoking being done in the restaurant. Even with that we returned the following morning and will certainly be back again. Thank you Corner Cafe for a great dining experience.”

“Visiting sis & bro in Doniphan. Chocolate their sweet rescue pit bull jumps in my 03 Jeep refuses to get out. So I take him cruising. Then the punk demands in his own way he wants a double cheeseburger bun only & a large vanilla shake!I love his little needy personality. “Two young women waited on me, they were quick, efficient, and polite. Place seemed clean and orderly. The subway is in a plaza by a Chinese restaurant and car dealership, plenty of parking. Sandwiches tasted alright, no complaints. We ordered them to-go since we had somewhere we had to be.”
