My wife was shopping for flowers at her favorite nursery. As soon as I stepped out of our SUV at the nursery I smelled a bbq smoker. Now, after living in Dallas for 27 years and living in KC for 11 yrs I know quality barbecue.As my wife was shopping for flowers I followed the scent of barbecue smoke and ended up right next door at PEPPER’S DELI & BBQ.It was nirvana! I order a brisket sandwich to go and it was BINGO!! After looking for 8 yrs in St Louis for a Texas or KC quality brisket sandwich I finally found one at Peppers.I’ll be back for more sandwiches and to explore the rest of your menu.Keep up the great work.

Can't say anything nice, 1 person took order, another rang me out. It was supposed to be combo meals, and then they were all rang up as individual Items. What a way for a large tip. Thought the food was pricey. When we got home, the wife asked how much? That's when I realized how much I paid.

Ordered for pickup through Doordash and truly wish I could give it 0 stars. I came in to pick up my food and the woman behind the counter said she didnt see our order because the machine didn't make a noise. It was an empty store and I guess she didnt look at the screen once in the 30 min prep time... One of my salads was not available and when I asked what was available she said "we have a lot of salads" which was not helpful. Then when I chose a salad, she asked me if I was going to pay for it... why would I not pay for my food? Im guessing she thought I was a Dasher because when I mentioned a replacement she said "they have to place another order because we close in 30 minutes." Regardless, of whether she thought I was a customer or Dasher, she was very rude and disrespectful

We tried both the Cowpoke Chicken wrap and the California Chicken wrap, both were delicious. The smoked chicken is so flavorful! Many options, it's was hard to choose. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others. The whole place smelled great and we received good service.

If you're looking for a place to grab a meal in West County, consider Peppers Deli & BBQ. I got the Cowpoke Chicken in a Sun Dried Tomato Wrap. I don't normally like Cole slaw, but this was delicious!

Lunch @1130 on a Sunday. Couple of people in line, but wasn't long before a nice young lady had my order, wasn't long after and I was heading out the door. We got the Screwy Schue and The Stack. Both sandwiches were delicious. Definitely worth a try.

FJ owner, just recently prepared a beef tenderloin for me for 12 people, with horseradish sauces & wonderful au jus with fresh dollar rolls that were beyond, everyone raved, the best they ever had, and seconds were devoured. Can’t say enough, juicy, perfect, just awesome, I have been going there for over 20 years, and I’m not about to stop now, everything is excellent… call ahead & order for your next get together, thank you FJ

When the owners used to run the day to day operations of this place it was amazing. I no longer see them and things have gone down hill. Wait times are unacceptable, orders are wrong. I have walked out of here several times without getting food due to 20 minute wait times just to order.

First place I have ever thrown my meal away after paying for it. I should have known when walking up to the door and it was so dirty that I couldn’t see through it. The restaurant was filthy and the food tasted like it had been sitting there for weeks. Bread was stale. Took one bite and left. It wasn’t worth getting sick over. Pick ANY other restaurant but this one. Just wish I would have asked for my money back.

Came in today to one poor working her butt off. She was all alone and people were coming in left and right , she handled it with so much grace and kindness and still handled everything so graciously. Even after an accident happened with the register, she instantly jumped in and still was taking orders and helping everyone. Everyone that was eating there jumped in to help anyway we could. This girl deserves a raise, and the owner of this place needs to recognize what an amazing employee this girl is.. Nobody else came to help to her on a crazy sunday.
