Decided to get a sandwich for lunch, as I'd heard good things around town. I ordered the Corned Beef, with cucumber salad, and also got a dark chocolate brownie. Honestly, as I was paying, I thought it was a little pricey, but after eating my lunch, I will go back and buy it again regardless of the price. It was so good I didn't even think about stopping to take a picture. The sandwich was piled high with thin slices of salty corned beef, complemented nicely by a perfectly tangy mustard, on beautiful, soft marbled rye. The cucumber salad was light and refreshing, not overly vinegar-y as others can be, a perfect palate cleanser. The pickle was ok, it could've had more flavor, but it's just a pickle spear, nothing to get upset about. But the brownie, man, it was everything I wanted it to be when I saw it on the counter. Do your tastebuds a favor and get lunch at Silver Spoon! I will definitely be back.

Get here early, very small selection of Donuts at 10am Sunday morning. While that was a let down, the club sandwich did not disappoint. I can see myself stopping in weekly to get one of these.

Owner delivered lunch to my staff and me. He left about 16 minutes ago. All of the food has been devoured. Food is fantastic, but the story behind the ownership is even better. David is a great human being, very innovative, thinks outside the box, and treats everyone he comes in contact with respectfully and with a kind heart. I'm excited to watch this deli take off just like his donuts and ice cream. Kuddos to you David and family!Would have included photos, but the food didn't stick around long enough....

We stopped in here on our road trip. Donuts were good, and the store is in a pretty convenient location to the highway. As mentioned in other reviews, these are more old-fashioned type donuts.
I was very disappointed. It tasted like they were day old donuts.

Donuts were very cold and dense like eating a biscuit. Picked a dozen up early morning got 2 custard donuts in the dozen but they had no custard in them.

These donuts are way overpriced & not good. These donuts are not made in house, rather cooked in a 'off-site commercial kitchen'. The owner/management is condescending and takes their hurt feelings from customers feedback to f/b in a mockingly way. Totally disrespectful.If you are looking for overpriced, not tasteful & cooked at some unknown location, this is your place.***edit***As you can see from the owner's response to this review, there were no private threats involved. This is quite an immature response to a legitimate issue. Anyone that post anything negative, the comment gets deleted or turned into a mocking game against customer. This is not how to gain business for your business. All you did was prove my point.

Meh. It's a decent donut if you're not leaving Eureka. It's a bit dense to me. It's more like the consistency of bread than a light airy donut. The proofing needs some adjustment.There's just better donuts that cost less outside of the Eureka area.
