We placed our food order as soon as we sat down. We received water and soda shortly after and the server never returned, after an hour of waiting for our food (2 people) we began to leave and the manager said we should have said something long time ago.... That was disheartening.

Me and my mother dined out this morning for brunch and tried to beat the church crowd, but even so, we did not get our food until an hour after sitting down. Getting sat wasn't a problem as it was only about 5 minutes after walking in that we got a table, but the fact that the music was so loud was the thing that bothered me. I was almost screaming to my mother across the table. This is the second time we've been here, and this is the worst service I've had in a while. We had our orders taken no problem, but by the time it got to the 45 min mark, we had to ask if there was something for us to get like fruit while we waited. When the server went to check on it, she said that there was one other table before us. The next 20 minutes went by, and I counted at least 5 tables being brought their food by the trayload. Mind you, there was a huge party behind us that was getting waited on more attentatively than just the 2 of us. They got their food not too long after us, and they came about 30 minutes after we were sat. If anything, don't come on a Sunday afternoon for sure! The cod fillet was fine, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious, but my beef remains with the speed of service.Parking: The parking lot behind the building is very small and gets full very quickly, but there is a lot across the street behind the Ferguson Brewing Co that I don't believe they use during the same time Elicious is open so I tend to use it as it does not seem to be and signage saying I can't. Plus it's FREE

Me and my girlfriend walked into the restaurant and nobody was there to greet us. After a minute of waiting we were greeted by someone who “seated” us. A few more minutes we were given waters, menus, and drinks. When we got our food my girlfriend got an omelette and it was undercooked! My food was made fine but the best things I had were the pancakes and waffles. We told our server about the omelette and for some reason it took them a good moment to ask us if we wanted a refund or it to be remade. My girlfriend wanted it taken off the bill and the server said she ate half of the meal but her pancakes are also part of the meal and she never touched them. In the end we were able to get it half off but I would have preferred them to take it out entirely. The restaurant is lively and it was very appealing from the inside but the service and food didn’t stand out much. I wouldn’t completely write this establishment off but from my experience I won’t be coming back.

We found this gem of a restaurant and came away very pleased. The host, Mr. Sly, greeted us with a rhyme and smile. Our waiter, Tish, was prompt and friendly.Our food was on time and the food quality was well seasoned and hot. When we return to STL, we will stop here to sample more of their menu.For the owner: please make sure your merch is available for sale at all times. I wanted to buy a souvenir coffee mug and the staff didn’t have the key to the case. I get one on the next trip.

The host/greeter is amazing! He touched my spirit and read my soul. Our waiter Eddie was friendly and respectful. Owner was present and checking on tables as well. Food was delicious! Definitely returning soon.

Had the wings and waffle with two eggs. Everything was good. Chicken tender and flavorful. Waffle was soft and fluffy. Eggs are just Eggs. Service was great and host was welcoming. Will go again.Parking: Upbeat environment with R&B playing in background

Tried to visit at about 12:30 on a Sunday they had the music so loud you could hear it out the like it's a night club. So if you want breakfast not a place to visit. I will not be returning . It's was the weekend of the 29 of
