I had the Jollof rice and chicken bowl with sukuma wiki and would have to rate everything a 10/10. You can tell the entire menu is delicious when you walk in, and I will definitely be coming back to try more!

This is my first time experiencing African cuisine and I have to say I am hooked. House of Jollof was recommended by a coworker from Nigeria that stated that this was genuine African cuisine. The chicken was so tender and flavorful. The Jollof rice was well seasoned. Great portion size. Well worth the price. I will be back to try different menu items. I appreciated the service provided. There was only one person working and she did an excellent job working the front and back of house at the same time.

The food is ok. DO NOT waste your money on the plantains. They do not prepare them properly. They are ALWAYS dry and not sweet. No flavor at all.

Food is delicious and plentiful. Best African cuisine in the St. Louis area hands down. Yes the price is a little higher, but i dont mind paying a little more for better quality.

The food was absolutely amazing and the customer service too! The owner came out to greet my husband and I and made sure we were comfortable with the menu selection as this was our first time visiting. Our food was hot and tasted sooo good. The Oxtails, which are my favorite, was soooo tender! The best I've ever had!! We give this restaurant a 10/10! Coach Toya Woods

3 stars for the food, because it USED to be spicy (the egusi), but now, even when I order the super spicy, it's just like eating something mild. Theres almost no heat to it. I'd like y'all to go back to actually being spicy, bc I'm disappointed every time it's not.

It’s hard to find healthy food in North County. HOJ is the only place I go for a good hearty healthy meal. Their menu is great and full of authentic foods. Plus the service is amazing really friendly

I usually get plain egusi from another place, but decided to try them. I wanted to add chicken to see how that would taste with it. When I got my food it taste like spaghetti sauce, I didn’t expect that because I love egusi but I guess adding chicken comes with some type of tomato base? I’ve been craving egusi for a while and was highly disappointed.
