This amazing place will be greatly missed! One of, if not the absolutely best contemporary and traditional chinese restaurants I've ever had. The general zho's chicken was well coated and sticky with a great crunch. The lo mein was perfectly cooked with a great coating. I love the pork egg rolls and the sweet and sour soup. the egg rolls are stuffed full with great spices and the sweet and sour soup is exactly that, none of that watered down nonsense. My wife loves the crab rangoon. Full of flavor and not overly sweet. The kids love the special fried rice, which is fantastic. It has a great assortment of everything they offer while keeping the rice perfectly cooked. It's a bit of a drive from the central corridor, but worth it every time!

Got the beef pho and was very happy with it. Tasted very authentic. Also was happy with the fast service and friendly waitress. Was a bit pricey (for lunch) after tacking on cost of a drink. Wish they had complementary filtered ice water.

I had the hot braised fish and it was delicious. The rice and crab Rangoon were pretty average but still good. Biggest downside is the prices. Will definitely order again.

This place lost a loyal customer today because of a rude server. I don't know what kind of day she was having, but I did not appreciate the nasty attitude. Upon entrance and exit, it was fever. I even overheard her being rude to customers who called in. I asked for soy sauce, and she said, “What?” I asked again, and she threw it in my bag. She didn't say thank you when I left. I felt disrespected and unwanted. I regret that I tipped her and the establishment. I guess it's back to Bubble Tea on Olive Blvd for my chicken lo mein.

My husband and I ate in this restaurant early on when they first remodeled and it was great. We’ve ordered food to-go many times and the service was good as well. Not anymore.A restaurant we wanted to go this evening was closed so we thought - let’s see if The Kitchen is open. It was open so we went in. One of the owners was at the counter. We walked in; she was very dry and had this ugly scowl on her face like she didn’t want to be there or didn’t want to serve us. She was not friendly at all. We ordered our food and she barely said thank you. She kept this same energy the whole time. A friend of ours walked in and she treated her the same way.We sat down and when our food was ready she started bagging it up, but we wanted to eat there. When my husband told her “oh I’m sorry we wanted to eat here”, she said well you didn’t tell me if it was for here or to go…ma’am! That is for YOU to ask! We asked for plates and those got slammed on the table. We started eating and the food was not good at all. Tasteless. The new ribs were tough and we ordered spring rolls and crab rangoon, but we didn’t get them. Checked the receipt and she didn’t charge us for them….ok.Another customer came in and she was jovial, friendly, and said thank you in a very nice way. Then another customer came in and when I tell you the smile on her face and the uptick in her voice was so opposite from what we encountered! She was laughing and grinning and conversating with her like she was her best friend and a resounding “Thank you!”, was said for all to hear! Not at all the service we received unfortunately. And as we were leaving, another customer came in….same thing. Dry, frowning, barely said thank you.If she had treated every customer the same I could at least make an excuse and say maybe she was having a bad day, but that was not the case. So here’s the thing - you can set up shop where ever you like. But if you don’t want to serve customers of color, then you might want to set up YOUR shop somewhere else….IJS. My money is green and you’re right…I can eat elsewhere. So I won’t be back.
