I'm glad I didn't read a negative review before I came...as I would've missed out! This is a TON of food, huge portion, and it's amazing. I got the steak and shrimp combo, killer! Huge shrimp and a lot of them and a lot of good tender steak. You'd be lying if you say this isn't great. Sit down quality food. I will def be back!!Parking: A lot of spotsWheelchair accessibility: Easy access and parking access

Delicious food. The habachi performance/cooking is amazing. Little pricey but worth it. Great for events and parties. Highly recommend.

Wow! Party of 7 showing up with no reservation seating in mins. Our waiter, James, was fabulous! Everyone had a different drink, different meal and different rolls. He never wrote anything down, everything was delivered correctly! The food was fabulous, everything was perfect. Service was top notch!! Highly recommend eating here for lunch. Recommend to make reservations if you would like to sit around the actual grill and have to entire experience. We decided to sit at a regular table instead of waiting for grill seating.

I wish I could write a better review, but my experience as a first time visitor to this restaurant wasn't that great unfortunately. I have been to many hibachi places in several states and this one is the first one that I had to wait 45 minutes until my food came out, after the rest of my family was already done eating. I asked specifically at the time of booking of the reservation, if it is ok to order sushi at the hibachi table, as my family members wanted to get the hibachi experience and I wanted sushi. After 45 minutes and when all guest at the hibachi table were already done eating, I finally got my sushi (nothing special, just salmon roles). When I asked the waitress why it took so long, she replied that we should have chosen to sit at a dining table instead of the hibachi table. I fail to see why my sushi order should get delayed because we sit at the hibachi table. Our whole party got their order taken at the same time, so why would it matter where we sit. I get the impression that they are trying to discourage anyone from ordering other food at the hibachi table, even though their house rules require that only 2 people from a party need to order hibachi. If we would follow the waitresses' advice, we would have to split up as a family next time, just so we can all enjoy good food in a timely manner, which is ridiculous and poor hospitality. Therefore, I would not recommend going to this place if not all family members are planning to eat hibachi

Food has always been great as well as the service. Ambiance is a little above average, everyone in there always seems to be happy to be there.

Their rice is parboiled. It was awful. The "grilled" vegetables were just mush. The steak was tough, the shrimp was over cooked. The chicken was okay. With those prices, I hoped for more. I won't be going back.

Expensive and not very good. There is a reason the line was shorter. Only gave two packets of hot sauce and would not give anymore.

Best Fast-food Asian I've ever had! I always come back, not the most healthy options but hey I didn't come to eat healthy.

Ichiban Sushi is like a ninja assassin of flavor, sneaking up on your taste buds and taking them down with precision and finesse. With every bite of their fresh and savory sushi, you'll feel like you've been transported to the bustling streets of Tokyo, instead of being stuck in the middle of nowhere Missouri. The only thing missing is a samurai sword and a geisha serving you drinks. So if you want to experience the joys of raw fish without having to swim to Japan, head on down to Ichiban Sushi - your taste buds will thank you. Also- the bar is pretty rad.
The staff is nice, but the food is mediocre . Maybe good for some in this area. We were disappointed and never returned.

Good food and drinks but the overworked one of the cooks to the bone he did 4 other tables back to back before he got to us and our food was fine but you normally get great food from here I wanted to tip the cook an extra 50 but he left so fast

Visited on Fourth of July! This was one of the few places open for dinner in Saint Robert and was pretty packed while also understaffed. The service was pretty slow but what else could we expect on a holiday! I got sushi and my partner got the steak and shrimp hibachi dinner. Both were good, just too much of the sauce on my tiger roll.

Unfortunately this place was not good. This was a shock to me as the restaurant off base is amazingly delicious! However, on base, the food is of lesser quality and not pleasing to the pallet. There was very little flavor to the chicken, steak and noodles. The chicken was bland and coated in a semi-sweet glaze. The steak was also coated in the same glaze and the customer doesn’t have the option to get the steak cooked to order (medium, rare, etc.) Instead it is more like a fast food restaurant with pre-made food. The noodles also lacked flavor and were skinnier (think spaghetti). If you are in the mood for hibachi, I do NOT recommend on base. The Ichiban in St. Robert serves fresh, flavorful, and succulent protein, with complementing noodles and rice. Moreover, combo meals come with a side salad, and soup, and offers ginger sauce in addition to the yum yum sauce. Highly recommend the original Ichiban in town and strongly discourage ordering the Ichiban on FLW. It was an absolute let down. :(
