Definitely start with the Parkerhouse rose with honey truffle butter. This was a perfect place for a multigenerational family to have dinner. The menu has something for everyone and everything we ordered was well prepared and delicious our server Danny was fantastic handling a large group I will return.

The food was very good, though the broccoli was burned. Steaks cooked perfectly. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly! Unfortunately, it's so loud in there that we couldn't really have a conversation. We were a table of six. They really need to do something about the noise. The ceiling is all wood, which is beautiful, but just makes the room extra loud. That's really the biggest complaint with 801 Local. I do wish they offered regular bread and butter instead of only their rolls and truffle honey butter, that they charge for. I don't mind paying, but I'm not a fan of the flavor.
We enjoyed the steak frites with truffle fries and the duck potstickers, which were served at the right temperature and tasty. For dessert we shared the strawberry cheesecake which was divine. Our server Taylor was exceptional and made our experience delightful!

Reserved table wasn't ready when we arrived so the 4 of us went to the bar...we were seated in about 15 minutes...our soups and salads arrived and were good! However, our main courses arrived before we had even finished! The food was pretty good. The place is REALLY LOUD! Prepare yourselves...the staff was very nice.
It gets very loud in dining room when the tables are full. So loud that it's had to visit with the people you are dining with. The wood is beautiful and creates a very nice atmosphere. However, some sound panels would help tremendously!
The service was fantastic-Joe is a great server and looks to be a valued team member. The salads were great too. The noise level was really bad and the overhead lights in our booth were almost searing...way too bright.

We were so excited to have friends join us for a late lunch. They live 5-10 minutes away from 801 Local and yet didn't know the restaurant existed. We never think twice about driving miles to get great food, drinks, service, and ambiance. So far, 801 Local has it all! Consistency is the mark of a great restaurant. Our hope is for that consistency to continue. Our experience is everyone involved benefits when all restaurant staff is well-selected, well-trained, supervised and treated with dignity and respect. They will try harder to ensure customers have a great dining experience. Thank you all at 801 Local!

We used Open Table to secure a reservation. We weren't seated for 15 minutes after our scheduled time. The table top was filthy. The food was underwhelming for the price. Worst of all was the noise level. We could not have a conversation.
The food was delicious service fantastic. Noise level was uncomfortable. It would be the only thing that would make me think about not going back. Granted sitting across from a table of 20 women what else should I expect. I could hardly carry on a conversation with the person I was with.

We got the Aji tuna wraps, which we've had several times before, and the tuna was fresh, but very chewy, and there was some membrane left on it. The duck potstickers were cold. Everything else was good. My husband felt like the wine pour was small. Our server was very pleasant, but absent for most of our dinner

We found the restaurant to be very noisy, it was hard to hear a conversation with the person across the table! Wait staff was very good, attentive but not overbearing. Food was good, but not great to either of us. Nice portions, we each took some home.
My wife surprised me with a dinner at 801 Local this past Saturday. Albeit we did have a reservation It took a while for us to get serviced. Once we had our server we ordered a drink and got recommendations on the main course I went with the half chicken and my spouse ordered the Main Greens. She loved it. The servings were massive we ended up taking the chicken home. Over a nice experience.

Never expected anything less than flawless from the 801 restaurant group. Everything we had was simply incredible. From our appetizers (shrimp cocktail, pork potstickers, Parker rolls) to our entrees + sides (steak frites, sea scallops and halibut, Brussels sprouts, broccolini) - all were delicious! The service was great too- didn't feel rushed at all and went at a good pace. Will definitely be back!
