Had a awesome night. I ran into a friend that I had lost contact with for years. I was greeted by the owner as we entered. He is always so nice and friendly. The lady taking the orders was great. My food was great. This is a customer friendly place. It is always a pleasure to visit.

I always love to eat local food even if it happens to be in a new area of town. Hawaiian Grill is a whole in the wall type restaurant in Florissant, MO. It was recommended by a friend. The gyros and fries did not disappoint. The fries came hot and crisp from the fryer, lightly seasoned with lemon pepper. The gyro was overstuffed with meat and delicious. At $6.99 + tax, sandwich, fries and a drink. It's a tasty bargain.

The wings are good here. I have always had a great experience here. The food taste great. Service is always great. The owner was there every time I've gone with the exception of 10/1/18. He goes out of his way to make sure his customers has a great experience. Unfortunately on this night I was disappointed with a portion of my service. I would have rated them a 5 otherwise. I called my order in advanced. The young lady told me it would be about 20 minutes and my food will be ready. It took me about 15-20 minutes to drive to the locate. The young lady was very courteous to me on the phone and after my arrival. She was courteous to others too. I paid for 100 wings. I waited for over another 20 minutes before I got my food. She apologized for my wait several times and I was okay with that because she acknowledged that I was there and waiting. I saw other come in and order after I was there and got their food before me. I didn't have a problem with that either since I had a large order. When she gave me my food I asked if there was barbecue sauce in the bag. She asked if I wanted barbecue sauce. I said yes. She then removed a small hot sauce container from my bag and replaced it with barbecue sauce. At this point I noticed that house that she put in my bag is about a 1-2 ounce container which is about the size that you might give to a customer the is ordering 10 wings. I asked is this all that I get? I have a 100 wings. I need more than this. She just shrugged her shoulders. I'm very dissatisfied with the portion given in comparison the size of my order. I was tempted to request a refund and go to a different place to get my wing that I was ordering for a funeral. At this point I'm unsure if I will return as a customer. in the past when I come I usually have a large order of 50-100 wings. Occasionally, in addition to my large order I'll add a personal order for myself too. We pass by other Chicago style wing places to go to Hawaiian Grill because of the customer service that the owner has given us. But this experience when he was not there is unacceptable. The cook stated that they don't give side with the large order. I've always gotten then in the past from here and other like places. Even if there was a charge for more sauce it wasn't offered. I may he to use other places in the future that give a more appropriate portion sizes of hot sauce and barbecue sauce.
