I rarely leave negative reviews because I don’t have high expectations and am pretty easy going. However, this particular Ruma’s was very disappointing as a whole. The bread was so stale it was almost comical the effort it took to take a bite out of the sandwich and chew. For a $10 half sub, I got 4 pieces of meat, 1 piece of cheese, pickles, a sliver of tomato and some limp shredded iceberg lettuce. Might have been the worst “fresh” sub that I’ve ever encountered over my 50 yrs…which is saying a lot. The teenage workers were fine because we didn’t really expect to get greeted as we stepped up to order or thanked for our purchase. My hubby did report his displeasure with the food and requested a different sandwich or his money back…he was refunded for it without apology or interest in why the food wasn’t acceptable. We will not be returning.

Small hot roast beef was pricey. Cheese and gravy I call A ju sauce an extra. Could go to a restaurant and get an awesome roast beef with fries or side salad and it includes the cheese and A ju. Nobody came to front until they had someone come through drive through to drop off someone's taco bell. Wasn't the same as it use to be so won't be coming back.

You can’t go wrong with Gerber or the Prosperity! I get my pickles on the side and plain Lays chips; straight fire!!

This place wants to charge for everything! I've never once heard of a place who charges for an ice water. I ordered 3 small sandwiches and 3 bags of chips and 3 ice waters (not the regular cups, the tiny plastic ones) and it was over $32! $2 per sandwich to add cheese!! I immediately asked for my money back, I'm not supporting a company that price gouges just bevause! They will not get my business again.
Terrible food and service. Ordered a large "Prosperity". The menu listed "gravy" so I requested no gravy, the clerk suggested getting it on the side. I agreed. The girl returned to the counter and said they were out of large rolls, she would check on the roast beef and if they had small rolls. She returned and said they could sell small sandwiches, which is good because it is a sandwich shop. I waited 10 to 15 minutes while three people moved back and forth in the kitchen. I was the only customer. I was given a brown bag and I left. When I got home I opened the bag to find a soggy (apparently it was drowned in the gravy) open face hoggie with toothpicks holding the top of it off the bag. Apparently, no Togo packaging. It looks like this place is barely holding on. Sad, years ago they had great sandwiches.

Good wasn’t horrible but wouldn’t fall as a first choice for future eats. The pasta sauce is far too sweet and watery. Will probably just avoid pasta if I visit again.

10 bucks for a 6inch stale sandwich where you only taste bread and no meat. What a joke, a gas station sandwich tops this place and half the price.
