We do storytime with my daughter every Monday. We all read a book together, do quiet time reading, get to take a book with us, and play with toys. She has such a blast here. Not to mention, some of the best coffee around. ?
Never have the items in the menu. I stop by multiple times a week, 30 mins after opening & they never have the items. Coffee is served lukewarm.

Me and my mom go almost every day and the tamales are soooo good the muffins are 10/10 and I love their Carmel frappes my mom gets the lattes and my brother loves the strawberry and banana smoothie and the service here is so good and we even had a baby shower here for one of my cousins and the atmosphere is really nice also the interiorParking: There is a lot of space and room to hurry up and find a spot just for a quick take outKid-friendliness: My brother always goes and they treat him with respect and there are tvs also so he can stay entertained

This is my goto coffee shop. The beans they use make the coffee taste so clean and crisp. Their pastries are so light and flavorful. The baristas are so nice and fun to talk to. Very down to earth. Will always come here for my coffee and cake

I have not been here for the normal service so i could not tell you how thier coffee and food are, however i does smell very good. I have been here because this business hosts Independence community events on a regular basis. This place lives up to its name and we need places like this, ones that support and actually give back to the community.

Here's an idea: don't have something on your menu during the summer if it's a "fall item". Every time I go here they are out of almost everything. I've gone right when they open, nothing made....I've gone several other times throughout the day and they've got maybe 3 things available plus whatever pastries are left over. The person who I've encountered majority of the time is not friendly either. Not sure where the "community" part of the name comes from.

Really horrible watery drinks no flavor at all I've tried several times I really wanted this place to be great because it's blocks away for one and not across town like star bucks but unfortunately it just isn't plus the teenagers working the window desperately need better costumer service training

This is little place in an old bank building, I believe. I have only used the drive thru. The last time I visited, there was a young woman getting my coffee for me, and an older lady was a little too pushy towards the younger woman, telling her customers don't like coffee being handed to them the way that she was doing it. Well, if you mean hearing someone unnecessarily being reprimanded in front of customers, especially when the young woman was doing a great job and was being very attentive and kind. Yeah, I don't like dramatic overtones in my coffee. Go do payroll or manage something besides public admonishment! People have way too much of this already. I don't think it needs to happen during a normally EXCEEDINGLY happy thing for me personally which is a nice hot cup of drip coffee with some cream.It is a local owned place, so I do support them. Maybe there was more than I saw happening ......That young woman got a tip that was better than the price of the coffee.....Great job!
