The food was excellent. The environment was comfortable. The service - drinks and plates attended to regularly. It is a buffet so we served ourselves.My dad wanted to pay, so he paid and we told him not to add the tip to his card. As I pulled out my wallet to get some cash to leave a tip, the attendant came and examined the check and asked "where's the tip? No tip for me? Cash tip?" I tried to get her to leave us alone but she just kept going on about it.At that point I became very annoyed. In the first place you don't examine those things while the guests are still at the table. I work in the service industry but I am not so rude as to ASK for a tip. She went way beyond asking. This is the second restaurant I've been in that a server was requesting a tip and it'll be the second one to which I do not return.A tip is OPTIONAL. Our service was good and I was leaving a tip but after she did that, I had to overcome the urge to leave nothing.It is vulgar to demand a tip.

Mama Garden use to be a nice an friendly place to go eat and relax. But I had gotten rudely disrespected there by one of there waiters. If you want some good food and relax go to Joy Wok.
