The only reason I gave it a star was to get to comment. It's out of business, closed and soon to be a Mexican restaurant.

Been going to this spot for about 2 years, it appears the café has been sold to New owners. To be fair they gave us great service and were very friendly. My biggest issue was with the food ... my Eggs and sausage were great but my biscuits and gravy were just awful honestly, the gravy was watery and tasted like nothing. Also I wasn't a fan of them changing the vibe/ atmosphere of the restaurant either.

Absolutely sad place now. New owners are terrible and have zero customer service skills. The whole vibe is gone and just needs to be put to rest. We thought we'd give the new owners a try....lack of service, friendliness, and professionalism. We just got up and left.

I’m soooo sad the owners needed to sell. This was my Saturday morning weekly ‘date’ with my son for years. Our own special mom and son breakfast. I also had the in your face server that charged for everything a la carte even though I ordered a plate. We will be searching for a nice humble replacement!!! And who the heck puts ice in chocolate milk!!!????

Loved it when Rosie was running it for years. Was up there today and saw new owners (presumably) and its not going to be the same I'll leave it at that. Probably like everyone Im sure they have a hard time securing quality and friendly! servers and employees that will show up on time. Will be moving on to another breakfast spot mire than likely . Thank you for serving this area Rosie with such good down home comfort food! Best of luck to you.

Certainly not the same as when Rosie owned it. Ordered the KC Chiefs omelet listed at $10.50. The waitress was an “in your face type”. Geez, back off please. When my order came she brought the omelet out with two fried eggs (what the heck)! Got the bill and it was $24.00!I complained because she charged me for the hash browns and eggs I never ordered, then charged me $4.00 for toast that always came with it before.I’m done, moving on. Sad to see a place like that go downhill so fast.

Hopefully Rosie's Cafe has seen better days. It certainly wasn't a good one when I came in. The interior is a bit decrepid. Almost all of the booths are taped up, and the menus don't seem to have been updated, except for the prices changed by whiteout, within this millenium. I was told to sit myself. After finding a booth that wouldn't leave me with glue on my pants, I waited almost 10 minutes for a menu, and another for my order to be taken. The food was pathetic. The bacon burger I ordered was almost definitely frozen, completely bland without even a grain of salt. The bun wasn't toasted and the cheese was most likely Kraft singles.Bad service, bad atmosphere, and bad food. $11 dollars not well spent.

My father and I were of the first customer's in the door the hour Rosie opened the doors. Food and service has always been great. Now recently Rosie retired and sold the restaurant to new owner's / management. With that said, all original recipes and ways of operation always change with new ownership, now wait to see good or bad.
