Ate there for the first time this evening. Food was fantastic. Staff was kind, and attentive. They were busy, but everyone was in good spirits and working diligently to get customers taken care of. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go again.

The best fried chicken ?. I have ever had. Service outstanding. Place clean veary nice atmosphere. Also you can bring your own beer and cooler. Well worth the drive from Columbia. Staff was great. Had to wait for chicken but it is cook to order. I highly recommended this place. Will be back for fish next week. Everything was good. Must try.

We came in for lunch. Our first visit was lovely. Everyone was welcoming. The fried chicken was divine, and the fried shrimp was my kiddo's favorite ever!Kid-friendliness: Welcoming and relaxed.
We went to the restaurant for a family style chicken dinner. The fried chicken had a good flavor. The sides were mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and green beans. They are all good as well. It is an all you can eat type of dinner.

It has been good up to tonight. Got the fish and chicken combo. The fish was hot and good but the chicken was barely warm and old. I'm disappointed. Service sucked and no other people in restaurant. Got forgotten by waitress. Busy trying to get some by male cooking. Entirely negative experience. Won't be back.
I had the chicken fried steak meal and it was excellent. I normally don't like restaurant's green beans, but they were so good. Even the gravy was impressive. You won't find lobster or caviar here, but what you will find are people who treat you like family and people who know how to cook love into their meals. I will definitely be going back.

Understaffed, inadequate restroom (1 unisex) for occupancy, half of our party was charged for food not received (one table did not receive fish). Instant mashed potatoes, some drinks ordered never received. No alternative prep available, all meats breaded and fried except ham which was excessively salty. Will not recommend or return. 15 members of much larger family.Dietary restrictions: No alternative prep for someone that cannot eat grain, salt or sugars (carbs).
