Really enjoyed Oscars on two separate visits to Jefferson City. Seems like a really wonderful place to work as well. Everyone was friendly and it had a family-like atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the Meltin Burle patty melt and fries. It was hands down the best I've ever had. The portion size was big and the fries were, too. I'll visit there again when I travel to JC.However....There was a baby crying in the back seating area that didn't disturb me at all. I could hear the parent trying to calm the child. I was disappointed to hear a worker who was sweeping the floor near my table tell another employee that someone should smack the crying child. I'm sure it was all in jest. I guess neither of them has never been in that situation.

A hidden gem we found by accident today. Definitely going back. Food was awesome. Something for everyone! We had the jumbo pork tenderloin dinner. Served quick with friendly service. Thanks for the yummy dinner rolls! Love the atmosphere. Enjoyed checking out the old TV & movie pics & celebs on the walls! Music was nice & not too loud. Enjoyed ourselves. They feed you well for the cost. You wont be disappointed! Some dishes are named after celebs! ?

We enjoyed Oscar's Diner. My wife had the avocado bacon burger which was prepared medium, as ordered. I got the chicken Caesar salad. Our food came out hot and in a timely manner. Our waitress was attentive.
Very busy and great place! The food and service was wonderful. We can't wait to come back and try the lunch/dinner items.

Never been to Jefferson City before. Drove there from Illinois for a day visit. Stopped here for lunch because I thought it was a regular diner where you could get breakfast 24 hours a day. Turns out you can't. But that was okay. I ended up having a burger and my husband enjoyed his meal as well. Lovely server named Kelsey was an excellent ambassador for your lovely town. A sweet girl. She was very busy but I could tell she was keeping her eye on us. Definitely five star service. Thanks so much! Kelsey.We enjoyed our day and your lovely city so much. Will be coming back in a few months to see some of the things we missed.Great job folks!

We've been here a couple times recently for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. The food was great each time, large portions and cooked perfectly. I always get an omelet and extra crispy hashbrowns. This is one of the few places that I've ever been that the hashbrowns actually come out crispy. My wife gets the breakfast plate (eggs, sausage, cubed potatoes and a half biscuit and gravy - she's brings about half of it home each time). It has been great each time. If you get a chance definitely give them a try. The food is good and the service if fast and professional.
