Y'all, this is my first visit. I am VERY PLEASED. I had an amazing dinner salad. I had the bourbon pork chops. Dinner was great. Service was way above par. Prices are very reasonable, servings are perfect. Jeremy was our server, very friendly and attentive. Go give them a try.

I wasn’t impressed with my experience here, to start with I was asked to tip at the counter where I ordered, I don’t tip the person that cuts my hair prior to the job being done so why should I tip prior to being served? Anyway, the cubano sandwich wasn’t very good, these are made typically with a finite set of ingredients that this one was missing, on top of that the pork had a strange flavor to it. The soup was pretty good but I think the cheese used was incorrect, again typically french onion soup is served with a stringy cheese that is easily separated into portions you can manage, I had to remove this blob and place it on my plate and portion it into manageable pieces.

The food was very delicious and the customer service was A1 as well. Came here for a basketball tournament and wasn’t mad about this being our first food stop. Everything was seasoned very good and the chicken was crispy. Salad was fresh as well.

Try and avoid the French Inion Au Gratin soup. The last three times I’ve gone it’s not at all be melted. It’s two medium slices of provolone on top barely melted. Tonight I took a small bit after having it submerged in my soup. I almost choked on it, had to grab it out of my mouth. This is very unsafe. I’ve told staff in the past about it but never asked for it to be heated up more (don’t wanna be that guy), but after pretty much almost choking on it tonight I needed to leave a review. Please MELT THE CHEESE! My spouse had bariatric surgery and could have eaten it if it had been melted and only one slice. I told her she shouldn’t eat it and we are glad I didn’t, that could have gotten caught in her stomach and caused a lot of issues. One slice, fully melted is the classic Au Gratin French Onion Soup. I need to see the rim of the bowl through the cheese. I get it, it’s Joplin Mo, folks like their dairy but when it’s that thick and not melted yuck.Other than that all the food is delicious. The Davids Fried Chicken is amazing with house dressing or honest mustard. Love the Rueben sandwich also, perfect combo of flavors. Just.. for the love of god, melt the cheese on the soup.. You may laugh at this until someone does choke and something happens. You all use to use one slice, very melted. Two thick slices under a heat lamp while the other food is made isn’t it.Yes, this was a rant about a soup. Absolutely nothing else wrong with the restaurant. It’s just after telling staff over the last year that it should be melted more and then this. I need someone to listen.Dietary restrictions: The lunch portions or pick two are very good sizes. They have a variety of salads, and other plates for certain diets. Loved being on the keto diet and going here. Soup and salad, perfect combo.Parking: During a busy lunch there may be limited spaces up front. Neighboring lot has parking too. Just hard to turn left onto 32nd street, but all the fun places are to the right the right and Down town always.Wheelchair accessibility: Oral entrance into a building. No step, has ramp as needed to roll on in. Do t be shy..

I ordered the “Penne from Heaven” and it was a little to rich for me. I usually get the “Downtown Grilled Chicken” from the 4th street location. The Dave’s fried chicken salad is always a safe bet!
