Absolutely love it here. Definitely a smaller place but it is amazing and a hidden gem!Food tasted amazing, you have the option of spicyness levels.Very flavorfulThe staff is absolutely amazing, kind and good people.Definitely the best place to go to for Indian food in Joplin!I was amazed at how good the food was that I didn’t take pictures ?Way better than the place in the gas station by a long shot

Really enjoyed the goat biryani, chicken and noodles, mango chicken. Taj Grill is a great find between the truck stops and fast food at the I-44 exit 4, hwy 43 south. Worth looking for

Stopped in on our way through on the highway…fantastic Indian food! Huge portions…we way over-ordered, but are happy to have leftovers because it was so delicious. We got veggie samosas, butter chicken, palak paneer, and garlic naan and loved it all.

So I called this place to order two Amritsar kulcha (crunchy potato and veggie stuffed Naan; shown in the second picture) for my dinner. I specifically asked them to keep the outside to be crunchy and filled with stuffing trough out. In return they gave me ?burned moisture filled raw dough with barely any stuffing in it. As you can in the first picture ?. I called them back after opening up my food and it looked undesirable to eat. It was just a mush of raw uncooked dough inside and burned from outside with barely stuffing inside, only in the middle part. So I called them back explaining the situation, the employee started to laugh at me and started to tell me that I don't know anything about the food I ordered. Instead of apology or offering me to correct their mistake. These guys just laughed and hung up on me. I don't know if the owner would read this but you need to your anpad guwar employees respect and customer service. Also I would like to give heads up to people please make sure what you eat from here, they do not oblige with health and safety rules. I saw the cook drop stack of rotis on the floor and picked it up then packed it for the "whoever" ordered the food from them. I will never order food from this place, rather drive little more to mile mark 13 and order their food, even though it's little bit pricey. At the end of the day you get what you pay. This place is more about taking money and not the quality of food we truckers/local deserve.

Tasty Food and Good People.Roti's and Naan's are really good - authentic indian.I had Shahi Paneer, freshly made and as good as you get from a decent restaurant. We use this route twice a year and we plan to stop here every time.It is a road side eatery with food made in a camper.Mostly used by truckers and the pro-tip is to call in your order before you get there!

This place was really good at the beginning, when it first opened. However, standards have fallen. Often when we go, they will forget one of our items. The last time we went, I ordered the Kadhi, a very basic Punjabi dish. When I got home, I found that the kadhi had no fritter in it ( thats like getting chicken parm and finding out there is no chicken in the dish). Very disappointing experience.
