Woody's Smokehouse BBQ is the best! Thankful for a great stop like this right off the roundabout north of OCC! Even with a packed house, the lines moved quickly and there was plenty of seating.

Eaten here a few a times now. Brisket turkey and chopped bbq all really good. Quick service no wait every time I have been there. Side dishes ok but nothing great. Good bbq sauces with a few to choose from. Cheap prices for the quality.Don’t understand the gasoline service though. Tried to buy gasoline but no card service at pump outside. Went inside and tried to pay but no one at the counter. Need to get card reader if they want to stay in gasoline business.

I’m from Texas and had given up on finding bbq in Joplin/Neosho area. This place is a direct copy of Rudy’s Tx restaurants. Like Rudy’s it’s not the best, but it’s definitely acceptable. I judge bbq by their brisket. Brisket is good (moist always), but I’m not familiar with the other meats. Sides are ho-him, but so are Rudy’s. I’ll be eating here every time I come to Joplin. I recommend it!
