We enjoyed our dinner and were seated promptly. Our server was great! Very friendly, attentive and offered great options for dishes.Vegetarian options: Was a very limited vegetarian options. Would like to see more options if they exist or to be better organized.

Went and got seated immediately around lunch time our server taylor was very attentive and made our visit much more enjoyable than any restaurant has in a while for us the food was excellent came quickly and was fresh atmosphere was warm and welcoming it was nice to look at all the vintage pictures and signs and see history please don't change it to the five four like the one in independence it sucks.

Ryan was our server. He was AMAZING, always checking up on us making sure our food and drinks were good. Very persistent guy. Someone needs to get this man a raise, he deserves it. The food was awesome I'm very proud. Greta job ryan!

Weird. It’s like the manager and staff were high as a kite, and had no idea how to accommodate a party larger than 6 people. We had 10 and it was a fiasco. Probably won’t be back. The food wasn’t even hot.

I love this place everything about this place screams vintage, relaxing, comfort all in one place, we had 2 waiters due to them training and not once was there a mistake with our orders. Strawberry lemonade taste different but still good as always! Will come again friendly staff and super friendly atmosphere!!Parking: Little store plaza tons of parking spots!

Basing this review on the experience I had tonight (11:15 pm March 22nd 2024)My partner and I had came in around 1030 for a late dinner, when we ordered our food we stated that we wanted to do the dinner for two special (appetizer, 2 entrees, and a desert for $39)She asked what appetizer we wanted to start with; we said the gringo dip, partner stated he wanted the chicken fried steak then I said I wanted the 8oz, the waitress then told me I couldn’t get the 8oz because of a recent recall but I could get the filet instead…. We finish our meal and when she comes back to check on us I told her we would like to have the cheesecake for desert…. She then said “oh I didn’t realize you wanted the dinner special but I can get that fixed for you…” making me feel pretty stupid because we were all really clear about the dinner.. the manager then came over us with a $76 check with everything rang in separately and informed us that since I got the filet it didn’t qualify for the special…. Him and my partner got into an extremely embarrassing argument to the point where the manager was physically shaking…. He could have came back with a $5 check and a free meal and I promise we still wouldn’t have paid it…. I can tell you one thing sir; I don’t care if it’s $15 or $50 I will not be taken advantage of, the entire approach was handled wrong and will forever be a memory and reminder to not visit your store again. It’s a shame too, last time I was at that location we tipped the waitress over $300 because she was THAT good… you just ruined it for everyone.

I would like to speak to someone about how we were treated by the manager. It was rude, degrading, and horrible management. I have been coming here for over 20 years and never once had a bad experience until last night. I am not one to complain, but what happened was uncalled for. The server Donnie was great and so was Kelsey. She is was caught in the middle of it.
