Remember the Alamo! Drafthouse, that is.This is becoming the cinema of choice for Americans who are - shall we say - different than they used to be. Now extra leg space and a meal and such things with your movie is commonplace, and this is the company that provides all those things.So they do a pretty good job and are very popular. They are of course closed down because of the Coronavirus but still on the whole they do well. It's just so damn expensive.

I love the Alamo! When it first opened it was one of the best theatres in town. Now that AMC has gotten on board with food and drinks, this place doesn't stand out as much but is still delightful due to great prices and fewer advertisements prior to the movie. I only give it three stars because over the past few years it has become worn and the theatre could use a facelift.

I love this theater. Its all about the experience. It's an absolutely no talking kind of deal and that's perfect for me. They offer a full bar and full menu, with a surprising amount of vegetarian options.

I love Alamo. I thoroughly enjoy being able to buy your seat and then food/snacks right from your seat. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I enjoy the creative there's drinks and food for special movie events. My definite go to place movie enjoyment.

Saw Parasite tonight, first visit to this theater. The seats were comfy if a little cramped. Picture was great and the sound quality was exceptional. It's nice that they have full food and drink service throughout the movie, and the server did a great job of being discrete. Why can't every theater be like this?

I love this place. Great place to see movies currently out but also they're constantly having events like movie parties and cult classics. Most all the food is 10-15 per entree, pretty good but it can add up. Probably the biggest hurdle to enjoyment is parking since it is in Power and Light, but you can park at H&R Block's lot at night and get validated. If you live in KC you have to go here at least once.
We don't have an Alamo Drafthouse near my house, but I've been to the one in Austin and now KC. I like being able to eat a full meal with drinks delivered to the table during the movie. The wait staff all took great measures to be low and quiet when going back and forth with orders, so they were not as distracting as you would think. I didn't even notice them if not coming to and from our table.

The Alamo Drafthouse is a fantastic movie theater and having the options of food and a full bar to go with the movie is just perfect. Their food is good - nothing special, but solid and their cocktails are really good as well (did not expect that).
