BP is a very nice, cozy, well thought out local Italian restaurant. I love the ambiance, lighting, and overall layout. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Overall, I don't view BP as a destination restaurant. I wasn't overly wowed by the food overall, but it was solid at every turn. The fococcia was the one standout. If I lived nearby I'd probably visit a couple times a year. Nice date night spot.

Had a wonderful Valentines Day lunch with my hubby. Server was wonderful, food was phenomenal. Lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. Definitely a new favorite place!

My favorite thing about Bacar Primo is the multiple pasta size options - you can order a personal or shareable size. This makes it easy to try multiple things with a group. The ambiance is cozy and well done. A beautiful neighborhood spot to enjoy a cocktail/glass of wine and delightful Italian food. During our visit we shared two small pasta sizes, one salad, and one appetizer - it was perfect!

Yes! Yes! What a cute lovely place! The restaurant is small, but it is full of love and deliciousness! I love everything about the restaurant, especially the charcuterie board. I would go out of my way, in the snow, through the storm, just for that charcuterie board. Everything is made in house so you bet it is made with love.

Wow! My new favorite restaurant. Cozy, romantic, good service, doesn't break the bank. My focaccia bread appetizer and spicy lobster pasta were unique and so good. I will be back!
We had cocktails at the bar!! Great bartenders & great drinks!! Didn't eat nere, but food sounded good, too.

An absolute romantic treasure of a restaurant nestled between some very swanky gift shops just off of 55th and Main.We would suggest booking seats in advance as seating can be a bit limited. Ordering pretty much anything on the menu will be certain to please any well traveled palet.Small plates, and lunch plates earlier in the day are very reasonably priced whereas the entre menue runs a bit more. The price is well worth it however, as both the service, the drink menus, and the chef are top notch.This is a wonderful place to take a date.Parking: There are parking places at the sidewalk near the door however this place is just a couple doors down from another favorite of ours Axios French restaurant. This means the best parking option is across the street by the nearby walking path.

Third time visiting and I'm as obsessed as ever. Everything is SO good! Tried the pizza for the first time. Will definitely be getting again!

Unsuccessfully Tried to reserve a table 3 days ahead of a planned (Saturday) date but the restaurant is very popular and not huge, but very quaint and comfortable. So we arrived early (advisable as parking is tricky), and were offered spots at the counter which we gratefully accepted and were very was great. Ordered a cup of the zuppa of the day (terrific) along with the house-made focaccia (very nice). We split a fantastic house salad and also shared the Ragu Bolognese (terrific). Very enjoyable experience and we highly recommend!

One of my favorite places to go out to eat. Great for celebrations or even a first date.
