Had a good girls brunch. Food was great and service was great. We were in the middle of a shift change and would have had more drinks but I'm guessing the server who was leaving didn't communicate to anyone we were staying. Sat 45 minutes without anyone checking on us. This is why I'm not giving 5 stars. The server we did have for our meal was wonderful.

I am always looking for different Happy Hours throughout the city, and luckily, a co- worker arranged for our team to check out Blu Hwy. Conveniently located off 50th & Main. In waking distance from the Plaza library, this restaurant offers a very chill and laid-back happy hour vibe. There was the option for patio dining, which is always nice to have when the weather is between spring and summer. But also offered plenty of tables and booths inside. The Happy Hour menu has enough variety to options to cater to different tastes buds, but I think my favorites were the fried pimento cheese bites with the tomato jam. They were perfectly fried, the pimento cheese tasted fresh, and the tomato jam was different but seemed to compliment it well. The fries were just ok, but the garlic aioli was great for their dipping. I didn't partake in the hummus as it's not my preference. However, my co-workers said it was just as delicious. Great spot to stop in after work for a few hours with friends, co-workers, or even a date night. Wasn't too busy when we arrived, which made it easy to get in and seated. Service was quick and very attentive. It's worth checking it out. I plan to go back for dinner and try other menu items for sure.

I ordered takeout from Blu Hwy, as I was in town for a conference. While the food was well made, the burger patties was VERY heavily salted. I paid $23, which seemed a bit overpriced for a burger and fries. Overall was content with my food, but for the experience and the paid, I don't think I'd go back.

Enjoyed Blu Hwy for happy hour. Variety of menu options sampled for fair prices. It was all good but the items I had were not overly “inspired”. Wings were easy enough to eat but super saucy, salmon dip was an interesting surprise and not overly salmon heavy, deviled eggs were good enough and shareable.Cute atmosphere and decor.Staff was a bit “distracted” much of the time so moved from lounge table to bar but experience was the same.Probably need to visit again for a full perspective and try a broader offering.

I think this establishment as a social club thrives as it will have you asking the patrons next to you if their food hasn’t arrived either. Going in for a couple of drinks and sides seems easy enough but there is a point in which the waiting for the latter is no longer worth the quality and price of said meal. it’s unfortunate the personable bar staff have to bear the impact of their kitchen staffs “obstacle” of bringing food out in a timely manner.

Stopped in during their off time (3-5pm I think) on a Sunday. It was a pared back menu, which didn't bother us. But man, they really phoned in the execution. Fries were cold and under salted. The cheese on the burger wasn't even melted. Tenderloin was soggy. Cool vibe and good service. We'll try again some time when the full menu is active.

The food was excellent as were the cocktail and wine selections. The decor was fun and very well done. We loved the VW bus! Our waiter, Andrew, was fantastic and one of the best waiters we have had in several years. He was informative, honest and personable.
Atmosphere was great, there was live music, the food taste wonderful, The service was fantastic, and I have to say everything I ordered Was so good and it came to our table nice and hot!

The food was fantastic. The service required a lot of heavy hints and reminders to complete basic services like removing empty plates, inquiring about additional drinks from the bar, and providing water refills. It was difficult to hear conversation across the table during the evening meal that we were there for.

I have eaten there 3 times now. It's has been consistently delicious with good service. Live music in the bar on a Friday night was great!It was not too loud and allowed us to enjoy our rare opportunity to dine with friends.
