Blue sushi is our favorite restaurant in the power and light district. We frequent once per week and the service is always fantastic. Jan the assistant general manager is amazing! We love the Sunday all-day happy hour!

i really liked this place, aesthetically it’s amazing! on the menu they have it to where you can differentiate between the raw & not raw sushi which was super helpful for me and my date getting things we both like! we had an appetizer with about 4 rolls of sushi and some cocktails. definitely recommend! ?

Oh my goodness I am so disappointed with this location. I ordered take out solely based off my amazing experience at the Denver location. The food I received from this location was so bad. The salmon was supposed to be medium, and it's beyond well done. The construction appears careless because all ingredients are not in every piece. The amount of dipping sauces included was insulting not even a quarter full. This location has completely turned me off, and I will not be patronizing anymore.

They say they cover parking, called before parking, and yet you have to pay $12 for parking. Absolutely ridiculous. The manager was a total douche and didn’t apologize for misinformation.
My waitress Caysee made my experience a 10/10. She was very nice, prompt and informative! My food was fresh and delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back.

My wife and I stopped for lunch at Blue Sushi on a Friday when traveling and had Brittney H. as our waitress - she was THE BEST! She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and provided suggestions when we couldn't decide! There are so many rolls to choose from! We had such a positive experience we decided to go back on Sunday when heading home! We requested Brittney and again had the best time! We also met Jan, the Assistant General Manager, and she made us feel right at home making sure we had everything we needed. We'll be sure to stop in the next time we're in town. Would *highly recommend this location for the food, staff, and atmosphere!Vegetarian options: They have an entire vegan menu with *plenty of tasty options! I recommend trying the Cowgirl roll and add cream cheese, the Bito Maki roll and the Shitake to Me!Dietary restrictions: Blue Sushi has always been very good about accommodating dietary restrictions. They have something for everyone!

Came in on Monday and ordered to go, staff was great, everything else was very mundane. Waited 30 minutes for a sushi roll, when it came out it tasted old and slimey, the rest went in the trash, it was not a good first experience will probably not return to this pretentious place unless it’s for a drink and I’m dragged there. Definitely better places for sushi in the kc metro. Updating to let everyone know I did get sick a few hours later after this experience be careful with the sushi here it seems to not be very freshVegetarian options: Old and slimey
