Love bo lings, got some for carry out. This one of my mother’s favorite places. The cook at this location must suck because the food was trash, Literally just ended up throwing it away except for the shrimp rolls. The calamari was so chewy and my fried rice must have be old or the beef was bad. And if my mom didn’t get sick, I wouldn’t even left this review. Even though my stomach is turned upside down however I paid $100 its the principal. Disgusting we would never recommend this location at all. You live you learn! So Next time I will take the trip to Overland Park because I’ve never A bad experience there.

Awful experience. Walked in at 815 on a Thursday night and was greeted by an older lady who very rude and pushy throughout the entire meal. She clearly did not want us there and was annoyed the entire time. There wasn’t a single other customer in the place. Ordered the pineapple fried rice and was completely dried out and flavorless like it had been sitting out all day. Prices were VERY high for bland, mediocre Chinese food. The lady kept pushing me to pay the bill while we were eating. I’ll never step foot in the place again and will be sure to share the experience.

These 5 star reviews simply cannot be real. I've been here twice and twice I've left feeling like I wasted money. That is the worst feeling to have after eating somewhere. The service was decent. We got our food in a timely manner. Beyond that nothing was up to par. 17 dollars for some tasteless lo mein with rubbery overcooked shrimp? Pork dumplings from a bag in a tasteless sauce I had to flavor myself with sauces i had to ask for? My martini was 100% from a batch premade and they didn't even bother to shake the other components in, so there was just liquid sitting on top of another liquid. In a nut shell Bo Lings in Zona Rosa is grossly overpriced and sub par food and drinks at best. If you enjoy the taste of disappointment then by all means, feast here.

Our experience with ordering appetizers and entrees has left much to be desired. The crab rangoon and egg rolls consistently arrive without the side of sweet & sour sauce, which takes away from the enjoyment of the meal. Despite requesting extra vegetables with the shrimp lo mein, they are consistently omitted, yet we're still charged extra each time. Furthermore, the shrimp in the dishes are consistently overcooked, resulting in a tough texture that's difficult to chew. Even my husband's combination young chow entree with extra shrimp lacks succulence in the shrimp. We'd be willing to pay extra for more tender shrimp if it meant a better carry-out experience. It seems the kitchen could benefit from slowing down and cooking with more care, as if they were preparing a meal for their own family. I'm sure they would ensure the food is cooked to perfection, so why not do the same for the customers?

Been eating here many times, but on 2-16 we went for our Anniversary and both my crispy beef and wife's chicken were not edible. The manager laughed at us for not liking the food. They just lost 2 customers forever.

Location: Zona Rosa Kansas City Ambiance: Family oriented. Food: chinese Food but also fusion with other asian countries. Fried rice was tasteless. Pad thai was also poorly executed. This place is not cheap. Still prefer panda express Service: pretty food.

Went for lunch. Had beef w/broccoli.. the egg drop soup was OK, the crab rangoon was excellent, the beef w/broccoli was over cooked, I ordered brown rice and was served fried rice, it was not hot and was pasty. Not a great experience.
